Funny that the article doesn't mention if all the registration cards were from republicans. It does state the dufus was from a liberal fringe group....

According to court documents, Reed said he was an ex-employee of Associated Community Organizations for Reform Now, a group that has been conducting a voter registration drive in Minnesota for a year.

ACORN again. These guys keep surfacing in vote fraud articles around the country.

If we had a real news media this would make national headlines on all major networks but it probably will not be mentioned again.

So, back to the original question: How do we stop the Libs from stealing this election? They're out there this minute ending the chance for a fair one.

I don't care if he's a Rep or a Dem..

Had he been a Republican, the article would have said so. This is AP. Ergo, he is almost certainly a rat operative.

I guess he had been reading the DNC manual. If they were for democrats he'd dump them behind the Republican party headquarters and then call the police (anonymously of course).

There is only one way: A BLOWOUT by Dubya.

I honestly think Dubya will beat Kerry by 10 full points.

If it's as close a some people think then brace yourselves for some interesting times because the Dem's WILL try to steal it.

I'm guessing reported stories on fraud are 50:1 in favor
of dims doing this compared to pubbies.

He was working for ACORN. That certifies he's a lib or left of lib. They are also investigating the fact that he forged signatures on several of the forms. If they toss his lone butt in jail I guess that will make 50 less votes for Kerry.

IMMEDIATELY, every county should deputize citizens to review any submitted applications from get out the vote groups...they should be scrutinized carefully. Any discrepencies, the "voter" has to be contacted, to see if they actually filled it out, or to see if they might actually have some problem voting somewhere.

THEN, next year, a Bill must be passed that all persons have to submit applications with a picture ID to the appropriate city/town hall.

NO provisional ballots.

No signing up at the supermarket.

No hiring out persons of questionable background to mock up applications.

This is not the American way, folks...voting is a serious business that our country has worked hard to guarantee. It shouldn't be allowed to be subverted because some guy named "Leon" wants to make $2.00/per to sign up his friends 35 times. It shouldn't be subverted because some insane people still think that "Bush stole the election" so it's okay to screw around with the legalities.
