Glad to see you're scoring a victory in Iowa.
In 2000, W lost Iowa by only 3/10's of 1 percent. (We begged for a recount but the RNC turned us down.)
We have been polling perfectly split in a dead tie for a while now. Hope people come to their senses when they get into the booth.
Hope the Swifties and others have a few more October surprises to push us over the edge!

"...keep an eye out on OR. Bush might just break through the Democrat hold on the Left Coast to the Pacific." That'd be terrific...I actually predicted two years ago that Dubyuh would take CA, but it looks like that hill might just be too high to climb in the next 2.5 weeks!!
We got Virginny's 13 EVs tied down tight, though...MUD

That is not true.

Bush WILL win NH and at least 1 electoral vote in ME. In contrast, Kerry won't win a single Southern state or any state in the Upper Midwest, with perhaps the exception of MI. Bush owns most of the country. Let's face it, the reason the Democrats have to gin up electoral fraud is that no one is excited about their candidate and he just doesn't motivate people to go out to vote for him.

The inter-mountain west is my home and stomping grounds. It is wrong -- just plain wrong -- that New Mexico is competitive, let alone leaning heavily toward Kerry. It is also wrong that the state of Nixon and Reagan is not competitive for a conservative Republican anymore. Something has to be done about the border.
That said, I sure hope this map is right. This is one victory party that I will so much enjoy, if Bush wins, and the more so if he wins big. The only thing that will make it sweeter will be if Thune manages to beat Daschle in my old native state of SD...

"God bless you mom. I hope she's right. Maybe Arnold will start campaigning for the President; that would certainly help!"
I'll second that.
Where's he been?
I think the "Governator" has been a HUGE disappointment.

I love you, man, but I most certainly do NOT make pies of any type!
But you can have a hug; are you on the way out to Idaho, or am I gonna need to call AAA Carolina for a TripTik?

It is also wrong that the state of Nixon and Reagan is not competitive for a conservative Republican anymore. Something has to be done about the border. This isn't the same California. A higher percentage of immigrants have moved to California than any where else and they seem to be voting democratic. The same can be said for Illinois.
To: Missouri
That's what I mean about doing something about the border. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that most recent immigrants will go Democrat. Their grandchildren may turn Republican, but by then, a new wave of Democrat voters has been let into the country. This is a game the GOP will always lose. Immigration levels need to be a low enough levels that the rate of absorption into the middle class and susceptibility to GOP appeal equals the rate of new immigration.

Which will completely discount what Tim Russert keeps telling us that "no President was ever elected without winning Ohio". I think you or Russert meant "no Republican" was ever been elected without winning Ohio. Kennedy in 1960 and Roosevelt in 1944 won without Ohio but both were democrats.

W will take Ore & Wash.
I honestly believe he has a legit shot at California. But he can get 400 EVs without it.

Interesting theory and I hope it is right on. I think that NJ is going to play a big role in this election, one way or another. Kerry and the DNC are concentrating on OH and FL and especially OH. I think the Dems believe they can steal OH with voter fraud and will then try an Al Gore on FL.
But if NJ goes for Bush, then Kerry has no chance even with the massive fraud.
One thing the dems did not count on is a state like NJ going Repub so the crooked demo machine may not be able to turn it around in time.
To: Jeff Head
We lose PA and Ohio we are tied at 269.
To: Mr. Silverback
Boy, it sucks to be in the only solid Blue state anywhere east of CA or west of MD.Don't be so quick to count out MD. I've lived in this state for over 15 years and was pleasantly surprised with our last elected Repub Govenor.
In my area I am seeing far far more Bush/Cheney signs than for Kerry/Edwards.
I'm holding my breath, butnot discounted MD. If GW gets a landslide victory, it will be due to states like NJ, MD WV OR NM etc.

OMG, I wish I EVER looked like that........ever!
