Another report from the internet states: "All Italy is abuzzing today about a Kerry gaffe aired last night on HBO in Italy. As reported in today's Corriere della Sera in Italy, Defense Minister Antonio Martino criticized John Kerry for an incredible remark that the conditions of the Iraqi Army were so bad that even the Italian Army could kick their a**es.

Martino remarked that Kerry, 'instead of saying what he thinks, should think about what he says.'"

I guess that means that as a half-Italian, I'd fight the Iraqi army to a draw.

Kerry denigrates the Italian army, refuses to acknowledge contributions from England and Poland, dismisses Iraqi casualties, calls the entire coalition a bunch of bribed pawns, and yet promises to build a better coalition.

He would be such a disaster.

He DID think about it! Remember Italy is a STRONG ally of the US, so Italy is no friend of Kerry's...

I thought I heard he made that remark some years ago. In any case it was kind of insulting, but then the Italian military has been the butt of jokes for a long time. I am Italian-American and don't want to be PC so I won't claim "victim" status here. But Kerry should know that some people are easily offended and making wisecracks about some ethnic groups is not a good idea. He already tried to kiss of the Polish-American vote by not including them as part of the US coalition.

Let the Italians at him.

Actually, let my Italian mother-in-law at him.

She, herself, is a weapon of mass destruction!

This one Italian could kick Kerry's ass without even thinking about it:

"Now I'll show you how an Italian dies."

As noted the other day by someone here, everytime Kerry tries to be funny he insults someone.

"Was he right? Not about voters' incomes, but, really, about anything? Was Mr. Kerry right to champion the cause of North Vietnam's brutal communist dictators? (They think so: The War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City depicts Mr. Kerry as a hero of its victory against the United States.) Was he right to boost the Soviet-supported Sandinista regime in Nicaragua? To knock the liberation of Marxist Grenada as a "bully's show of force"? To embrace the nuclear-freeze movement during the height of the Cold War? To vote against the first Gulf War? If Americans elect Mr. Kerry president, they will answer yes, validating a long career of uninterupted, unshakeable leftism that has opposed, time and again, the expansion of freedom and democracy."

Notice a trend in Kerry's actions?
He tends to FAVOR COMMUNISM!
And what do we call someone who favors communism?

How does Kerry think the French "army" would do against the Italians? I know where my money would be.

This shows how out of touch this worthless piece of crap is. Just about everybody has an Italian relative or friend in this country. Italians are now a very strong part of the American fabric. Kerry has insulted a very large part of our society. Would he get away with a wayward remark about Blacks or Jews or even Moslems. Just shows you where our MSM is in relation to objectivity. They and Kerry have their heads up their a$$
