Kerry's Promises (Kerry insult to Italians)
Washington Times ^ | October 15, 2004 | Diana West

Italy, a nation that has bled for Iraq, is smarting anew over an old Kerry slap broadcast on Italian television this week. "The Iraqi army," Mr. Kerry said before the war, "is in such bad shape, even the Italian army could kick their butts."

So much for politesse, or lack thereof — something to expect in a Kerry administration.

MARTINO, AMAREZZA E DISPIACERE PER GAFFE KERRY

Roma, 12 ott.

This will go over well with the Italian communities...especially in Philly.

How does Kerry think the French "army" would do against the Italians? I know where my money would be.

As noted the other day by someone here, everytime Kerry tries to be funny he insults someone.

Every time he tries an empty compliment also. Remember how in Michigan he said "Everybody knows BUCKEYE football" or words to that effect ?

Maybe this is why he brought up the fictional character Tony Soprano at the debate as to not offend Italians any more than he already has

I don't remember the exact comment he made, but I do remember thinking at the time that he had just compared President Bush to a mob boss.

This shows how out of touch this worthless piece of crap is. Just about everybody has an Italian relative or friend in this country. Italians are now a very strong part of the American fabric. Kerry has insulted a very large part of our society. Would he get away with a wayward remark about Blacks or Jews or even Moslems. Just shows you where our MSM is in relation to objectivity. They and Kerry have their heads up their a$$

I'm willing to let John Kerry personally go into Falluja, without bodyguards, and 'negotiate' an end to all Terrorism with Zarqawi's brigade.

After he returns, assuming he hasn't given away or promised them too much, I will seriously consider voting for him.

>>All Italy is abuzzing today about a Kerry gaffe aired last night on HBO in Italy.

I'd like to see/hear that one myself, and hopefully in some ads in swing states

God help us if this guy gets elected, and you KNOW the rats are using every devious shenanigan in the book, and probably inventing some new ones. The only way they know how to win is be cheating. This really IS one of the most important elections we have ever faced. GOD BLESS DUBYA!
