"Mackris' attorney...did say...that O'Reilly's behavior will be proven in court...She returned to work for O'Reilly at Fox in July of 2004, according to her lawsuit, after winning assurances that O'Reilly would no longer engage in inappropriate conduct."

I don't like O'Reilly, never have, but there are two sides to every story. However, if it turns out he is a Clinton clone, the hell with him.
What is it with guys named Bill? They get all the action ...Why did my parents name me Woofie and not Bill?
Tin foil hat because one suspects this story? Oh come on now.
"And Makris and O'Reilly will live happily ever after once they've capitalized on the greatest publicity stunt of all time. This thing is so nutty I'm inclined to entertain any theories."
Nothing, nothing stays a secret for long especially with the internet. If this were a stunt both will be cast aside like dirty dish water forever.
DOBBS: Very high-stakes conflict between these two. Jason, what is the next step here?
CARROLL: Well, sometime in late October, October 22, both of the sides will get together and if there is an issue about the tapes, perhaps at that time, that issue will be resolved.
DOBBS: Thank you very much, Jason Carroll.
"Mackris is not good looking. Certainly not what one would consider "a babe."
Neither is bulbous headed O'Reilly. And his straw dried hair is too weird for description. Not to mention the constantly changing shades of auburn coloring.
bttt
RONN TOROSSIAN, SW PUBLIC RELATIONS: O'Reilly is a hard-core conservative who likes to talk about himself as the king of no spin. Mr. O'Reilly, keep spinning. Keep spinning and keep fighting.
If this were a stunt both will be cast aside like dirty dish water forever.
I don't think they are consciously doing this. They will both be crusaders who will play out their noble cause in front of the media. I wish everyone would just shrug their shoulders and say 'who cares'. But that won't happen. This kind of spectacle promotes and prolongs celebrity in our world.
O'Reilly is no threat to the left. Because he is part of the left.
BOR's timing on his move to the left is unfortunate (BWAHAHAHAHAHA). Just when he most needs those that got him where he is he alienated them (HEHEHEHE, BWAHAHAHA). And he looses that Kerry interview he was whoring himself to get(BWAHAHAHAHAHA).
WEll...
To be honest I don't care much for O'Reilly. I disagree with him at least 40% of the time, and his personality grates me. I generally don't watch his program, although I do enjoy it at times.
Public figures are easy targets.
The early evidence doesn't look good for him, but then we don't know if he and she had something going on and the relationship went south.
It's just too early to tell and so I'm going to wait until more information is known.
Yep, LOL! We'll wait with bait on our breaths for Rita to tell us about her feelings, intuition and so forth about who is guilty and convict someone on her hormonal proof. Or maybe we'll spit the bait out.
Hmm, short stint at CNN, then back into the pervert's den. Yeah that makes sense. NOT.
I don't know. If it were to turn out that way, CNN would just about have to close the doors.
Sounds plausable to me. I do think something is going to drop on Kerry shortly. Within seven days ought to do it.
We shall see.
Will other talk hosts whom he's bashed, and postured that he's better than,RUSH to his defense? Or is he in for more DRUDGERY?
Bottom line - if this woman had issues and didn't go to the HR department, she doesn't have a leg to stand on. If she had, I doubt Fox would allow her to come back after leaving.
I am starting to believe this was consensual, as Fox is suing her and her attorney separate from O'Reilly's lawsuit.
This should get interesting.
I am starting to believe this was consensual, as Fox is suing her and her attorney separate from O'Reilly's lawsuit.
I tend to think it was more of a passive-aggressive thing, that she didn't outright try to shut it down & left a crumb or two laying around until she had him bagged. Something more along the lines that he presented her with an ''opportunity'' & she devised ''a plan''.
I think you've got it nailed. One other thing that really smells fishy is on page 12 of the lawsuit as shown on smokinggun referring to George Bush's Republican Party and their so-called compassionate conservatism. WTH is that doing in a sex harrassment lawsuit?
While Mackris and Fox traded accusations, observers also noted that O'Reilly and Fox never specifically denied that he had held the conversations with his producer.
"Bill believes in retrospect that the conversations may have been recorded, and he's confident that if they exist in an unadulterated state, it will be exculpatory," Green said.
Without confirming or denying that sexually explicit conversations took place, Green said tapes might indicate whether they were "initiated for the purpose of entrapment."
Green also filed a motion with the court to have any tapes turned over by Oct. 22, but has received no response from Morelli, he said. The move to remove Morelli as Mackris' attorney, Green said, comes because he is "a litigant. And he can't be both a litigant and an advocate."
