John Kerry's Supporters Again Try to Muzzle His Critics
Smear campaign launched against Sinclair Broadcasting after it announces plans to air "Stolen Honor" nationwide
The Kerry camp is at it again. After trying -- unsuccessfully -- to block the publication of "Unfit for Command," his supporters are now working to force Sinclair Broadcasting Group to pull back from plans to air the documentary film "Stolen Honor" on its 62 nationwide affiliates later this month.
The documentary vividly portrays the impact of John Kerry's false testimony and statements about the Vietnam War. As brave soldiers endured torture, starvation and death behind enemy lines, Kerry accused them of war crimes and actively sought to discredit everything they fought for. America needs to know the truth about Senator Kerry, and Sinclair is doing the right thing.
Kerry's camp and it allies are now urging supporters to flood Sinclair affiliates with angry calls and letters. A campaign has been started to silence the truth about John Kerry.
Once again, we must meet the challenge. Here's what we need you to do!
1) Contact the Sinclair affiliates to offer your support for the film. They need to hear from Veterans and concerned citizens who want America to see and hear the truth about John Kerry. Further down this email we have provided the list of affiliates for you to call and voice your support. Important points to convey to the affiliates:
Do NOT GIVE IN to pressures to silence the POWs and their remarkable story. The POWs deserve their story to be heard -- they are being silenced now by the Kerry campaign just like they were 30 years ago in captivity. This film needs to be shown!
2) Call Sinclair's Corporate Headquarters and offer your support for the film. PLEASE thank Sinclair for their decision to air an important story on how John Kerry's actions after Vietnam furthered the torture and agony of our soldiers being held in captivity by the North Vietnamese. Tell Sinclair to continue to stand on principle and not back down to pressures from those who don't want the POW's story to be heard.

When I first saw the news item about the attempt to silence Sinclair's freedom of the press, I was outraged and immediately sent the following to Sinclair Broadcasting:
"Dear Sirs:
Thank you, thank you, thank you! We Vietnam veterans are fed up with John Kerry and his hate-America lackeys. John Kerry is lower than whale sh*t in our book. Stick it to them. They hate and fear the truth.
Your news documentary can spread the truth, that's all we ask. We support you all the way, never back down. There is a rapidly growing group of us at www.operationstreetcorner.com spreading the truth about John Kerry's lies and traitorous activities. I was fighting in Vietnam on April 22, 1971 when John and his rag-tag bunch of liars and misfits were testifying before Senator Halfbright. I take his actions personally.
Mark me down as a proud Vietnam veteran who did not betray his country. If you need any support or help, ask us. We will serve again.

As I sit here but a few miles from the place our fallen troops report for the last time (Dover AFB), I cannot believe a slimeball like John Kerry is on the ballot for President of this great country you served so valiently.

As somone who spent 20 years living under the flight path of DAFB, I wish to echo you sentiments.
Sent mine telling them to not listen to the moveon.org dope hate invested flea bags. We support them.
The DUers are trying to smear Sinclair Broadcasting with the most vile comments and allegations.
It proves to me that they KNOW that showing this document will bring Kerry to his knees. Why else would they be so hateful and do these tactics?
After the program is aired and after Bush wins, the advertisers will see that the DU people were just threatened them.

Don't let the fascists on the left intimidate you. Despite what the main stream media would lead Americans to believe, some pigs are not more equal than others. Honor the founders and the First Amendment, show the film.

Dear sir,
Thank you for your response, however I had already read your high minded, sanctmonious statement before e-mailing you in the first place.
Your statement might have had a shred of credibility had you taken a similar position against CBS, who tried to run a totally fabricated hit piece, bolstered by fake documents, against The President under the guise of news journalism, but were unmasked as frauds by the blogosphere.
However you took no position versus CBS, and since Sinclair's piece of news journalism is supported by the Congressional Record rather than clumsy forgeries, your outrage is exposed for the transparency that it is.
Your demonstrated bias shows that you are unfit to hold the office of Comissioner.
If you had any honor you would resign, but then, you are Democrat, so expectations can't be set too high - I'm not holding my breath.
