GWB getting rave reviews for his performance tonight. Barnes said the Pres. seemed happy to be there, was quite animated and had he performed similarly during the first debate he would be ahead by a far greater margin. Kondrake said Kerry's low blow tonight was bringing up Cheney's daughter and seemed genuinely disgusted.

Bush looked like crap in the beginning, but boy did he come on strong. He smoked this. Bush was strong out of the chute, FOX News analysts all are saying the same thing...start to finish. Kerry knocked out according Kristol, (no friend of Bush's).

Teresa looked very down.
Mort (who was pro-Kerry's performance last week) is LIVID about Kerry bringing up Cheney's daughter. "Dirty pool." "On most issues what struck me was how forward-looking the President was. He talked as a reformer...That gave him a positive thrust. Mort says HE WON THIS DEBATE.
