SPIN THOSE POLLS! SPIN THOSE POLLS! [10/13 02:50 PM]
UPI reports on the efforts to spin online polls and mass-mailed letters to the editor.
President George W. Bush and Sen. John F. Kerry will walk across the stage Wednesday night and greet each other at the beginning of the third and final presidential debate. Already, across the country, e-mail messages are arriving in newsroom inboxes declaring a winner. A new form of spam is emerging this fall, called debate-spin spam, experts told UPI's The Web. The veracity of the e-mail messages being sent as letters to the editor is coming into question, as are the timing and content of many of the messages, because a significant percentage is being generated by bots, or intelligent software agents.
Which reminds me, it's time for the Pajamahadeen to continue our jujitsu operations. We had some success recently, but I think it's time to set our sights higher.
As usual, the instant online polls of news organizations, that the DNC is steering its members to here, will be less valuable and useful if the result is so stunningly skewed that no one believes it. So a poll that shows Kerry won 99 percent to 1 percent is less useful to the DNC than one that shows Kerry won 70 percent to 30 percent....
Unfortunately, not many people are following elections in other democracies, otherwise they would see that the lefties use the same tired receipts all over the globe.
Take the Australian election last week. The whole way through the campaign polls and media (both staffed by the same ex-radical campus mob) were trying hard to show how close - neck-in-neck, too close to call! - the race was.
And then the conservative candidate John Howard, a staunch W's ally, won by a wide margin over his pinkish Labor rival, taking away from them several seats in both of the parliament houses...
For those who believed the polls and the journos it was like from the blue skies. But there are no miracles in elections. The development meant two things among others:
a) Aussies were clever enough to laugh at the pundits all the way to voting stations;
b) Leftist "Fourth International" thugs use the same deception tricks everywhere.
I agree too. 99-1%is just as good as lying to pollsters.
Thanks for pointing that out. That election was a great win for Australia and us. My, my. John Kerry's sister seems to have been spinning her wheels going over there to defeat the encumbant and bad mouthing our efforts in Iraq. That woman needs to be gagged with her anti-war, anti-imperialism, anti-Democracy, anti-Bush bull.
What makes you think that they will publish the exact results if they look really ridiculous? Since the mob in the biased media and pollster companies is anyway involved in the deception, they'll make up the results exactly as they wish: neck-in-neck, too close to call.
They hope this would discourage the Republicans and make them less willing to participate in a doomed voting, and encourage the disciplined Dems to go for the last effort and vote en masse (fraudulent voices including). What is needed is to show how false the polls are and to convince as many people as possible not to take them into account when they make up their minds on voting.
Yep, vote for Kerry along with the Soros votinator squad, and do NOT forget to write and send those DNC talking points letters early!
In fact, I'm pretty sure Kerry has already WON the debate!
Agreed. I think it is better use of our time to stay here on F.R. and pick apart Kerry's words, and thus create TOMORROWS TALKING POINTS!!!
I lasted a couple of days...
BTT
Think I'll start emailing the MSM now about how Kerry won, it's 6:41 p.m. Central time! HA HA HA HA HA
Exactly...NOW is the time to send in your votes for Kerry, before the debate begins. Let MSNBC have to report that 100% think Kerry won. I predict that we could kill polling and presidential debates after this year...which would be a boon for the electoral process. Let the MSM suck their thumbs and wonder where the buzz went when no one takes their pathetic media hype seriously in the future. Maybe the nets would fire some of these ancient hacks, like Jeff Greenfield, Bill Schneider, and the chicken-necked Judy Woodruff. We can dream, can't we?
Right ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is DU's link to all the media addys. Use it now to to tell them sKerry won debate, although it hasn't happened yet.

OOPs, POST #172
Quite right,
Exercise the counter deception deception plan.
PING - Upside down voting in progress, see also post #172
Even better--let's all vote for Kerry.
Very good idea -- let's all vote for Kerry -- anyone on any other blogs please post the same thing.
I'm in!
I agree completely with your thoughts and chose to do that during the last debate. I figured with the outrageous numbers on the polls they would be ignored. However, on the late nite section on MSNBC they showed poll results on their website at least twice before commercial breaks and encouraged people to go vote before they reported final results of their online poll.
Well shazam, Kerry won the debate 70% to Bush's 30%. Only then did the host mention that these weren't scientific polls. Duh. It was never mentioned that the DNC has targeted the polls through email alerts to their members. We are assuming that no one will take the outrageously skewed numbers seriously, but watch the dems come out with an ad the next day claiming an overwhelming victory. Gag...
