You wouldn't know that by the jovial attitude displayed by Hillary after the second debate. Come to think of it, maybe there was a reason for her upbeat attitude!
No question, this is the perfect scenario for Senator Piano Legs. Bill isn't campaigning for Johnny "Irish" Kerry and no Democrat can say a word about it. I can just imagine Slick sitting in front of the tube with his latest flame on his lap and a cigar in his mouth, laughing his head off.
Why wouldn't he be recovering well? He had topnotch care before, during, and after. Perhaps Clinton didn't realize how traumatic the operation would be and how long it would take to really recover. Nothing easy about it.
Nothing a few cigars and Big Macs won't take care of.
It's something to do with tiny air bubbles caused by the blood recirculator. The bubbles lodge in the small brain capillaries and cause small stroke like problems. Memory loss, vision and sensory problems. Sometimes permanent.
But if you're the infallible Bill Clinton and you choose to have heart surgery at the worst possible institution (percentage of deaths) in the state of New York then it's just a dog gone shame.

His endorsement of Kerry tends to bring support, not drive it away. I have a real hard time understanding that. "Yes, vote for Kerry says the manslut who defamed the Presidental office in front of every soverign nation on earth". And then the idiot dems DO IT. Doesn't make any sense.

Strange, but I don't see any DU comments expressing outrage at the "Special Olympics" flyer being handed out by a Democrat from Tennessee.
No doubt man! As much as I have railed against Slick over the years, I still feel sorry for the guy, look at the family situaton he is in and look at the circle of non friends he maintains. What a nightmare!
We shouldn't wish him dead. The more he speaks, the more outrages he commits, the more energised and coherent the conservative movement becomes.

More seriously, the best hospitals and best surgeons might just be getting the sickest patients, and therefore have the worst records. This does happen.
I'd hate to see him die from heart disease... but how about syphilis? :) I know a few people (Ron Brown, Vince Foster, Waco victims, etc.) that are watching his recovery with great interest. I'm SURE their prayers, and the prayers of their families are with him.
