The right-wing echo chamber Free Republic, where private citizens spit pseudonymous venom, is also a rich treasure trove of nastiness. In late 2003 when the Massachusetts Supreme Court voted to allow marriage rights for same-sex couples, the Freepers went off:
"This is great that Massachusett's gay judges did this. Let all the fudgepackers move there and be clients of the Dickem and Dunkem (Ted Kennedy) law firm," wrote a poster named "Therapist."
"Can I marry my mule?" asked another.
Another responded: "Sorry. Next step is to give them your boys. They want the age of consent lowered to around 10 years old. Your mule will have to wait in line."
"There is nothing 'normal' about homos," another added. "Even the wild animals know better (Except male goats. They're really filthy)."

Salon ? Yeah, that sounds like a place where homos hang out all right.
So what?
Well! That is proof we're doing okay!
LOL!
What is "Salon?"
If we really cared about not being smeared (i.e. quoted verbatim), then we should hold ourselves to a higher standard and keep the discourse more civil.

Sent him my response. Something about mules, goats, stock prices, etc.
Yes --- if the radical leftists were praising us, it would be a problem.
AMEN
Everybody has to be somewhere.
Working for Salon is like working for a Wyoming monthly. You have a job and get paid, but the work is unnoticed by 99% of the world.
Wouldn't you hate to have slipped out of the real journalistic world into the vast emptiness of Salon.com?
Now even the net becomes elitist ?
The 500 pound gorilla with lots of money should never dictate whos valid or not on the internet. Even though I don't agree with MF's BS I reserve the right to be credable with regards to my comments about his ability or inability.
To me the word accredited means sanctioned, bought and paid for, pre-approved, licensed etc etc....Mark Follman is all of and none of the above all at once . He's just one more "blogger" for folks to either laugh at or enjoy. He's so full of BS and others ideas that to try and collect them in the manner he does makes his writing out to clearly be a plagaristic piece of puppy poop on paper ! I do have problems when the first amendment blogs , blogggers, forums etc when they call for subversion, sedition and terrorist acts....... MF is close to stepping over that line IMO. Stay safe kcvl !
I hate lawyers..
Sound advice: I wouldn't let this guy get any where near you a$$ if I were you.
