"Clark County residents can check online to see if they are indeed registered to vote."

Good.

If true, it's wrong and outrageous, but note the media doesn't pay much attention to the normal stories of dem voter cheating that goes on all the time.

Republicans need to win through fair and just means.

If we don't, then we have sunk to the very level of corruption we accuse the Democrats of having.

Oh crap...

This just hit in Portland, OR

KGW (NBC) just did an investigative report on a guy with a private firm hired by the Oregon GOP (supposedly) who will not sign up Democrat voters (against the law) and "might" have throw away forms mark as Democrat.

The firm says they do not instruct workers to do this, but that they only get paid for Republican mark forms.

Bill Bradbury (Secretary of State who made sure Nader was not on the ballot) was gassing on about the illegal behavior.

Bradbury plans to investigate election complaint

By RUKMINI CALLIMACHI / Associated Press

Secretary of State Bill Bradbury and Attorney General Hardy Myers plan to investigate allegations that a paid canvasser might have destroyed voter registration forms.

"There have been allegations made that someone threw out some voter registration forms that had been submitted to them," Bradbury told The Associated Press late Tuesday. "This is a violation of the law and I will meet with the attorney general in the morning to talk about what we can do to pursue this, and to make sure it doesn't happen again."

Bradbury learned of the conduct from KGW-TV, which interviewed Mike Johnson, 20, a canvasser who said he was instructed to only accept Republican registration forms. He told the TV reporter that he "might" destroy forms turned in by Democrats.

"I have never in my five years as secretary of state ever seen an allegation like the one that came up tonight — ever," Bradbury said. "I mean, frankly, it just totally offends me that someone would take someone else's registration and throw it out."

Bradbury said the law requires that groups registering voters submit forms no later than five days after they were filled out. He added that canvassers can't turn away a voter because of his or her party affiliation.

Rory Smith, a spokeswoman for the Republican Party in Oregon, said the young man interviewed by KGW-TV was not in their rolls. "We do not condone this type of behavior," Smith told the Portland-based station.

In Nevada earlier Tuesday, KLAS-TV, a CBS affiliate, interviewed an employee of a private voter registration organization who said hundreds — perhaps thousands — of Democratic registration forms had been destroyed.

Eric Russell, a former Voters Outreach of America employee, told the TV station he had personally witnessed his supervisor take out Democratic registration forms from the pile and shred them.

A spokesman for the Las Vegas bureau of the FBI said he did not know if an investigation had been initiated.

This has to be a Democrat setup. Why would a company that partners with what appears to be communists and extreme liberals destroy Democrat forms and successfully complete Republican ones? No F'ing way, this is BS.

Would these groups rip Democrats up and leave more Republicans at the ballot box in Nevada or elsewhere? NO!

This is exactly the same as the draft where it was only Democrats that wanted and were pushing a draft in fact.

Ask O.J. Simpson

Racial Profiling Resources on the WWW

This is total BS! I'll go out on a limb and say that the exact opposite is closer to the truth and these scum are trashing Republican registrars. Acuse the other side of the very thing your doing to put them on defense and CYA.

Made up story to enact democRAT dirty trick #1,397:

When attempting dirty trick (i.e. massive nation wide voter fraud), always accuse opponent's of using same dirty trick i.e."everybody does it"

If "proof" of opponents alleged "dishonesty" can be established through use of phony documents exc.. so much the better to fool the public.

I hope the FBI comes down hard on anyone trying fraudulantly deal with individual voters, it makes no difference to me if they are republicans or democrats. It's wrong and it's a disgrace!

Nobody should be surprised to find out it was "Democrat Activists" dressed up as/calling themselves "Republicans" that did this.

The end justifies the means crowd will do anything, say anything.

Voting is for people who are committed to voting. Drive by voters are gonna get shafted. People who don't vote in primaries are gonna get shafted, because they won't know if their registration is valid until the big day.

I had to laugh when my son, the twenty-something democrat, claimed he was cheated out of voting -- in Manhattan. Like voting in Manhattan is controlled by evil Republicans.

Did he register well in advance? I don't think so. Did he vote in a primary, sop he could at least be sure he was on the list? I don't think so.
