The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

ATLANTA (CNN) -- As more than one billion Muslims prepare to celebrate Ramadan, terror experts are mixed about whether the holy month is a tool for recruiting terrorists.

Some terrorism experts and Islamic scholars say Ramadan gives extremists an opportunity to enlist new recruits.

"It's a time which can be exploited by radical clerics to motivate individuals into taking action on the basis they are somehow serving their religion," says terror expert M.J. Gohel.

And analysts see another temptation for terrorists: exploiting the Battle of Badr, a symbolic date in Muslim history, which falls near the U.S. presidential election.

Jet Makes Emergency Landing At Trenton-Mercer Airport

UPDATED: 2:00 pm EDT October 20, 2004

EWING, N.J. -- No one was injured when a jet carrying three people made an emergency landing at Trenton-Mercer airport.

The pilot declared an emergency after an engine apparently failed.

The plane was bound from Monmouth Airport in Wall Township to Cleveland.

It landed safely and is being inspected.

Hmmm is right. I just logged in and need to catch up on this topic. I'm a little behind in the thread.

I just watched Fahrenhype 9/11, the counter documentary to Sponge Mike Sweat Pants F 9/11 garbage film.

Fahrenhype 9/11 is an extremely powerfull rebuttal, the soldier interviews are incredible. Some of the most powerful stuff I've ever seen in awhile. Dick Morris and Ed koch are great, as well as Steve Emerson.

Highly recomend to all here.

Oorang, that is a stunning find, this as an emerging technology that most people don't know about yet. The FCC recently approved the Power Co's to go ahead with scaling this technology up for public use. The devices exist to do this and have been to tested at some level, interesting.

I will be more careful over at google groups while I'm there.
