"THEY CAN SEE YOUR HARD DISKS VIA YOUR
COMPUTERS POWER SUPPLY (AC BROADBAND).
THEY CAN U/L AND D/L FILES."
Oorang, that is a stunning find, this as an emerging technology that most people don't know about yet. The FCC recently approved the Power Co's to go ahead with scaling this technology up for public use. The devices exist to do this and have been to tested at some level, interesting.
I will be more careful over at google groups while I'm there.
I need a powerline firewall!

At first I thought it was just some college kid trying to score some weed, but, the coordinates are for Offutt AFB in Nebraska (US Strategic Command). Odd place to do a drug deal.
Last night he posted what looks like jibberish (a weird diagram in the shape of a face with a string of letters at the bottom). Rather than copy and paste the message here's the link:
All three have been reported, for what it's worth.
You will know when BPL comes to your neighborhood. It will be apparent when your broadcast band AM radio becomes a worthless pile of squeals, clicks and digital hash.
Not to worry just yet, friends. AC Broadband technology requires a repeater every few hundred feet.
