Many of you have asked us to come up with a flyer for distribution on campuses near you. Any good suggestions will be taken (all others thrown in File 13) (:-}

I recall Chris Matthews interviewing crowd members outside the hall at the second debate. He asked members of the college age crowd what issue was most important to them. One girl said the draft. I don't know if she was a shill or not, but if not, the false draft threat email and other red herrings of the Dems have had some effects.

The issue is total baloney for among other reasons, the bill by Rangel/Hollings is defeated and the Armed Forces do not want a draft. Some people may be fooled anyway because they are to lazy to check or use their heads.

I forwarded the following to the SR VP for Student Affairs for the NC Community College System. MAYBE this will get someone to do something ON the campuses.

You owe ALL of the students throughout the NC Community College System the RESPONSIBILITY of putting a STOP to the FRAUD that has been perpetuated by democrats for POLITICAL purposes.

I have no doubt that YOU are aware not only of the memos, but also of the cbs news program that gave MOST who watched it the FALSE impression that the current Administration was PLANNING to reinstate the draft. cbs KNEW when it ran the story, in fact, cbs KNEW while it was PREPARING the story, that there was NO PLAN for a draft. YET, they INTENTIONALLY ran the story with the FULL INTENTION of scaring young college and high school students.

PLEASE accept the RESPONSIBLITY of making KNOWN to ALL STUDENTS throughout the NC Community College System that the draft memos that have been circulating AND the stories they have been hearing are FALSE and INTENTIONALLY misleading. Following is a link to one of many grassroots.org flyers that put an END to these LIES. Let these young people KNOW the TRUTH and remove the FEAR that the democrats have instilled in them, PURELY for POLITICAL PURPOSES.

It makes NO DIFFERENCE what your political preference is, or WHO you support in the upcoming election. Using FEAR, FALSE, BASELESS and UNFOUNDED FEAR for political gain cannot be allowed to continue. These flyers, or their contents SHOULD be placed on bulliten boards, student papers, etc around the state. A simple statement could be placed. We want you to know the TRUTH about rumors of an impending draft.
