Since Freerepublic was TOOOO SLLOOOOW last night (DU Denial of Service???) I lurked over to the dark side and found their minions actively DUmmifying the polls. That is why the polls are skewed in Edwards favor. Below is the list of active polls from their website.

I HOPE you showered afterward
Internet polls are meaningless. Everyone should know this by now.
Conservatives would be better off boycotting them so they ended up 99-1 and others would realized how worthless they are.
Internet polls have no basis in reality. BOYCOTT ONLINE POLLS. It is just a p**sing contest.
Not only a waste of time, but it makes us look silly. Save your effort and go write a letter to the editor of your local paper instead.
(Yes I keep repeating this post because people keep repeating "freep this poll" posts.)
if anyone goes through all of those polls and votes has absolutely no life.
They apparently hit Worldnetdaily pretty hard as well. Kind of suprising since it requires registration.
Edwards drank 6 cups of coolaid--nuff said!
Internet polls are meaningless
I don't even bother to FREEP them
Waste of time
I think the boycott strategy is a good one.
I used to freep polls when I had a chance, but now I'm insistent on encouraging your results. From now on, if someone suggestes a freep, I'm going to advocate an unfreep! Help load it up the way libbies want it so it looks obviously lopsided their way, and hence, useless!!
If we really are split 50-50ish, then impressive effort on our part will gain what? 49-51 in favor of them perhaps? 40-60 if conservatives are mostly working instead of polling? But if we get half of all conservatives to "unvote" the poll turns to 20-80. Or 10-90.
ACCELARATE THE DEATH OF INTERNET POLLS! HURRAH!
"Uh, Miss! Decaf please!"
I hit 5 or 6 of them, does that mean I have a partial life?
considering there are about 100 polls there, that would give you about a 95% life rating.
POLL BUMP!!!!! the cheaters.....
