If anyone should bring up the F-U incident in humor tonight, Cheney can honestly say "I haven't said anything inappropriate to anyone in this room."

I am so looking forward to this response to haliburton question... VP - " saying that I profited from Haliburton contracts in Iraq is like saying that Heinz Kerry foundations knew they were funding terrorist organizations around the world", pause.... just ludacris. End of discussion.

This is just getting too comical for words. I've worked on campaigns for over 30 years, and I've never seen one as juvenile as this Kerry "campaign." They seem convinced that they can win this election with cheap stunts and grade-school slogans. Meanwhile their poll numbers just keep going down, down, down. It is downright embarrassing to anyone who has run a real campaign. The fact that they think they need to pull a stunt tonight shows how terrified they are of their Breck Girl looking completely out of his league against Dick Cheney.

'Or like saying that you, John, callously profited millions from the misfortune of families with dead and disabled children.' It would be unthinkable.

It was the other way around. As I remember it, Leahy pissed Cheney off with his usual rat manners, then tried to horn in on a photo op.

Not too worry. I heard an interesting comment this morning on WLS Chicago:     Cheney will hand Edwards' hair to the Brek girl on a platter after the debate tonight.

Edwards will be glad he doesn't have to face Cheney in every court case. He would be a pauper.

( dems are trying to setup cheney with the hopes he uses the 'f' word again!)

Well I know I sent an email to the VP thanking him for telling Leahe what I've been wanting to for years. It wouldn't hurt his popularity one bit if he shot Leahe the bird in between camera shots.

"Leahy's presence will give all the media commentators a reason to remind viewers that Cheney used profanity."

I think you've nailed it.

Tom Daschle and Tim Johnson showed up for a fund raiser for Mr Thune that President Bush had.Instead of throwing their sorry butts out on the streets the President welcomed them and said i hope you brought your billfolds. That was at the state fair when Thune was running against Johnson.

The democrats are still pissed at Cheney for cleaning Libermans clock in the debates in 2000. They are hoping a trial lawyer, will do the same to Cheney. It ain't gonna happen folks. If anything it will be the other way around and the democrats will be besides themselves again. Their hate runs deep and it's consuming them.

Edwards will probably ask the Veep to apologize for "FU" comments in the Senate a while ago....

And here's what Cheney should say," I may have mis-spoke, but Senator Leahy (fill in the blank) - which is worse?"

I hope Cheney mops the floor with Breck Girl. However, even though the Kerry campaign is silly and juvenile to the extreme and Cheney is vastly more experienced, don't discount the ability of the ambulance chaser to talk up a storm and charm the skin off a snake. Edwards will use his time-tested stump lines such as:

"the tired old politics of hatred"
"future of hope, not fear"
"failed policies"
"Halliburton Halliburton Halliburton"

Just as in the Bush/Kerry debate, it will be a conflict of substance vs showmanship, policies vs politics, actions vs words. And Edwards has lotsa fancy words.

Patty Leahy, aka Senator Depends, pretending he is a supporter of the military. Almost as funny as those Thanksgiving Day photos of Hitlery eating with troops in Afghanistan.

I think the lib sites are prepared to actually CHEAT in voting in the polls tonight. I think they are in many cases clearing off their cookies after they vote once and then going back and voting multiple times. That's cheating, isn't it? Didn't they learn that in Ethics 101?

Yes, that's cheating. So are scripts that log dozens of votes per minute. Ethics? Fraudulent voting is the right thing to do if it will feed one hungry child or pay for one abortion or put one coal miner out of work...whatever.

Ethics are situational, dinchaknow?
