[history]
An unknown suspect fired several shots into the Bearden office of the Bush/Cheney re-election campaign Tuesday morning.
The headquarters are located at 4618 Kingston Pike, next to Noveau Classics and in the same shopping plaza as Long's Drugstore.
According to Knoxville Police Department (KPD) officers on the scene Tuesday, it is believed that the two separate shots were fired from a car sometime between 6:30 am and 7:15 am.
One shot shattered the glass in the front door and the other cracked the glass in another of the front doors.
There were no witnesses to the shooting. A customer at a nearby dry cleaning store noticed shattered glass on the sidewalk in front of the headquarters and called police.
Volunteers and staffers at the campaign office say they have no clues as to who might have committed the crime. However, they add that the shooting makes them even more enthusiastic and energized about working for their candidates.
"If I have to sleep here (at the campaign office) now, that's what I'll do," says volunteer Suzanne Dewar.
In an unexpected twist, a bank directly across the street from the headquarters was robbed just as KPD officers were busy investigating at the scene of the shooting.

I do believe this would be considered domestic terrorism.

Ever wonder why the Rats can't get this worked up over Islamic Terrorists?Cause they don't feel personally threatened by Islamic fundamentalism?
Or is this a trick question?

This is at least the third separate instance of the same kind of action taking place throughout the country.
I cannot believe this is not national news.
If the perpetrators of these crimes are followers of the Democrat party, then I believe this is a good indication that there are no depths to which they will not sink. Remember their mantra, Anyone but Bush.

Maybe from now on we should call the Kerry Supporters "Redcoats"!

Remember, they are the tolerant party. The party of appeasement. They party of love, understanding, devotion to abortion. The enemy's party. As long as they win. That is all they care about. The damage they do does not matter. As long as they win. I am amazed, totally amazed that this republic has not crashed yet. It amazes me that 50% of this country has gone socialist/communist/democrat and vote that way. As the illegals continue to pour in, they will only gain in numbers and the war within will actually begin. You think it is bad now. Let this election be like the last one. Then the REAL mob mentality will be let loose.

They've been whipped into this frenzy by the media, in four years of continual venomous attacks against every move Republicans and GWB make. They have also been whipped into it by the completely irresponsible ravings of Dem pols like Dean, Kennedy, Pelosi and Kerry and on and on and on. Their chickens are coming home to roost. They count on the media to cover for them. For the most part the Old Media does.

One of the Rats at work insists that this is the work of a Republican bent on smearing Kerry. I reminded him of the violence that seems to be commonplace in Rat demonstrations (the stomping of the NYPD officer at the Republican convention, etc.). Those were Republican fifth columnists, says he.

I heard on the radio yesterday, that a woman was carrying a Bush / Cheny sign and a 76 year old woman yelled at her and riped up her sign. When she bent over to pick up the pieces of her sign, the 76 year old "lady" hit her on the back with her cane. I believe it happened in NY. I heard it on WABC 770. I never thought I would see the day where little old "ladies" would beat you with a cane over your political beliefs.
Hannity has been saying for months to watch out for what the left is going to pull. He has also said that he would not be surprised if, after Bush wins the election, the dems call for Bush to be impeached. Their hatred of our President knows no bounds.
To: beckysueb
They are planning a major revolution if Bush wins. Its scary.
My hope and dream is that a clear cut Bush victory will mean the destruction of the Democratic Party coalition. I think there are a lot of Democrats (including politicians like Lieberman, Zell Miller, and others) who are secretly appalled at the kind of campaign Kerry is running. When was the last time a candidate for president from the Democratic or Republican parties publicly called the President a liar? Maybe I'm not old enough or have a good enough memory, but I can't remember it ever happening.

I've got you by another 14 years, and I've never seen anything like this. But we've not seen anything yet; wait until W wins in November. We're not going to believe what happens on a national scale, G.
First, endless weks/months of court challenges.
Second, articles of impeachment.
Third, riots.
Buy more ammo...

Well said. While we're busy and distracted fighting each other the islamic terrorists will try to take us all down. Dims are either playing right into the terrorists hands or they're actively trying to help them bring this great country down. Not sure which is the case.

I do believe this would be considered domestic terrorism. The problem with that is that the media would call it "character assination".
