Enough Already, would you wimps quit whining!

Posted on 10/05/2004 6:23:08 AM PDT by stevestras

So GWB did not dominate the first debate, the sky is not falling. It seems that Freerepublic is filled these days with whiney little weenies that want to do nothing but complain. Would you people please toughen up!

Elections are hard work and you can't expect the Swift Boat Veterans For Truth to carry your water all the way to November. Live with it and do something postitive to help, instead of bitching about it.

Some of these same namby-pambys are the people that complain the most about "spineless republicans" that let the dems roll them over. When the going gets tough, the tough do not roll over on their President and complain about his weaknesses.

How about demonstrating the power of the people and our new medium, The Internet, to make a difference!

I believe there were several things President Bush should have brought out in the debate, but a few days contemplation has calmed me down a bit.

I'm holding on to the hope that he really may have been strategically sandbagging kerry waiting for a gaffe. I think he got a pretty good gaffe - and I still wish he had pounced a bit harder - but I remain optimistic.

When the dust settles, I truly believe the "undecided" voters will conclude that the world has changed since 9/11 and President Bush had made the necessary adjustments to really focus what is in this country's best interest.

I hope Vice President Cheney hands edwards' ass to him tonight. That pathetic little ambulance chaser makes me sick to my stomach.

Good post...you're absolutely right. With all the voter fraud going on, we need as many activists as possible.

Bush wiped the floor with Kerry. There is no doubt where both men stand on that issue.

Yeah he really hammered Kerry on his senate record-- Hammered him for not attending the intelligence meetings -- etc etc ( Don't I wish )

The only way that I have tried to personally "turn it around" is to put a "W-'04" oval sticker on my car

...at the risk of having it keyed by some Leftist Commie Socialist Kerry Koolade Drinking, Anybody-But-Bush WACKJOB!

Oh, and it's a BMW M5...just to piss them off even more!

Go President Bush! FOUR MORE YEARS!!

I live in Tennessee. From my office window in Nashville I can see the very steps where Gore was to make his victory speech. He was going to easily cary his home state at least that is what the polls said. It did not happen.

Polls are goodd for conversation but they are not based in reality. Bush is going to win this election because of his record and credibilty. Kerry cannot run on his Senate record and the Swifties have and are continuing to damage his crediblity.

It was a draw.

When you have the Incumbent ahead before the debate and tied after the debate....that is anything but a draw.

He is still ahead in every poll but Newsweek. I also think the "Global Test" comment by Kerry is going to haunt him BIG TIME.

It's only a tie if you ignore most polls and hand select others.

I still think President Bush allowed Kerry to wiggle off the hook...while we were all sitting around the table with knife and fork in each hand and a bib around our necks.

I fully expect Vice President Cheney to beat up on Edwards like a red-headed step-child tonight.

I live in West Tenn. I haven't seen Harold Ford Jr. bringing in the Democrate canidates this time. I always knew that Gore would not win in Tenn. The left said that state pride would set in, but the people of Tenn. hadn't lost their minds and they haven' now as John Edwards thinks. How are we going to win in Irac if 75%of the military has lost their minds and are going to vote for President Bush?

... I feel like I'm living in the Twilight Zone around here.

Last time I recall you saying that was defending xlinton's excursion into the Serbia.

I still think you're full of crap, but I'm dumping on you now to try and dampen your negativity. How many times you gonna reassert your point? Btw, put me in the column that sez the President won. Debate wise, he stayed on topic and used his time well. skerry was all over the place with his points, making all counterpoints impossible. You are falling for the demoncrap commie media spin.

Last time I recall you saying that was defending xlinton's excursion into the Serbia.

And I still think it was one of the TWO correct decisions Bubba made.

A good Conservative would and should make sure that another Holocaust is stopped dead in its tracks...no matter who lives at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

That said, I'm dampening my own negativity here, 68 grunt...this venting is my therapy.

Semper Fi!

"You are falling for the demoncrap commie media spin."

Says it all. Falling right in line with how the spinners want you to feel. I choose to think about what was said, the content. Those of you that are being spun think about:

"Kerry Won".

That's it. No discussion of his answers. Concentrate on the answers, they are wrong.

Onliest way to respond is Semper Fi :^>

I'm really not suggesting we not vent, at all, but remember that we set an example, and that negativity has a tendency to snowball. So does the positive. How is it we are told to nurture our kidlings? Look for the good and praise it.

He'll win re-election...please don't fall into the propaganda the liberal loons are putting out there which includes the poll agenda...remember they're a bunch of liberal liars!!! You can't trust these weekend polls...especially since the Liberal Loons had this planned with the pollsters. Folks they are hanging on only by a thread!!!!! No one wont's a GLOBAL TEST, UN APPROVAL to protect this country. THINK THINK THINK

When I hear the MSM say that Kerry erred big time by calling for a global test, then I can be assured that the great unwashed out there who have the Right to Vote are being told the "truth".

Unfortunately, all they are spouting is how "Kerry won the debate"...thus implying that he is better equipped to lead our Nation.

"I still think President Bush allowed Kerry to wiggle off the hook..."

A better politician would have buried Kerry. That is just not Bush. To me, his strengths are his leadership skills which he has demonstrated through building one heck of a cabinet. Bush will never be known as a great president and it will be inspite of some amazing accomplishments.
