Enough Already, would you wimps quit whining!

Posted on 10/05/2004 6:23:08 AM PDT by stevestras

So GWB did not dominate the first debate, the sky is not falling. It seems that Freerepublic is filled these days with whiney little weenies that want to do nothing but complain. Would you people please toughen up!

Elections are hard work and you can't expect the Swift Boat Veterans For Truth to carry your water all the way to November. Live with it and do something postitive to help, instead of bitching about it.

Some of these same namby-pambys are the people that complain the most about "spineless republicans" that let the dems roll them over. When the going gets tough, the tough do not roll over on their President and complain about his weaknesses.

How about demonstrating the power of the people and our new medium, The Internet, to make a difference!

Make sure you distinguish between the people who want to ban immigration and the people who want America's immigration laws to be followed.

It's not only racists who are troubled by having a Swiss cheese border.

Unfortunately not everyone has a Pentium4 with high-speed connections.

A lot of our fellow Americans still think and believe the Iraqi War is an excuse to fatten the wallets of Halliburton's stockholders.

Those mentally challenged opinions are from the same people who don't get FOXNEWSCHANNEL, but depend on Jennings/Brokaw/Rather.

Don't be naive. He lost a grand opportunity to make this election a landslide in our favor.

This isn't a baseball playoff game where the manager leaves Pedro in for 1 batter too long...only to get another opportunity this week to make things right.

My country's future is at stake...due to the WOT and the Supreme Court makeup.

All the hard work was temporarily neutralized by President Bush's lackluster, unprepared performance.

The bullet is in the chamber and the enemy is in site. Timing is everything. Patience is necessary to bring about the most potency.

Um, I believe his "Big Speech" has less to do with the negative attitudes on an internet board, and more to do with laying the groundwork for increasing viewership for the VP debates because Edwards is weak.

But then again, I've only been working campaigns for 20 years, so what do I know.

Obviously....not very much!

excerpts from column...

President Bush, stung by the erosion of his lead over Sen. John Kerry in post debate polls, has abruptly scheduled a major speech for tomorrow in hopes of halting Mr. Kerry's momentum.

In a rare, last-minute alteration to the presidential schedule, Mr. Bush has scrapped a planned talk on medical liability and instead will give what the White House called a "significant speech" about the two central issues of the campaign -- the war on terrorism and the economy.

The president is said to be eager to rebut Mr. Kerry's attacks on such issues, especially those that came during Thursday's presidential debate.

Don't bet on it with Rove at the helm

If Bush wins it will be because of the grass roots Swifties just like back in 94 it was grass roots gun owners and christian conservatives that gave the GOP control of congress ( Newt still thinks he engineered it He and Rove would make a good team )

Bush ain't even doing as good in the polls as in 2000 and he is an incumbent

Very true and his campaign hasn't even mentioned the judge issue

It should be attacking the activist judge issue with a vengeance

Riight.
A Kerry lead that doesn't exist, and since he had Kerry on the defensive regarding his own remarks (Global test, NK, Iran nukes), how is Bush on the run?

What some folks don't realize is Bush is right where he wants to be. Sure Bush would "rather" have Bin Laden on a platter next to Michael Moore's fat butt. Bush is in great position. His vision has been unfolding for the last 3 years. Why would it all magically stop doing so now? It's not. Bush will win! Bush will stay in Iraq! It will be a long hard fight! Terror will continue to be confronted on all fronts. Our allies will shift position and some may even desert us. In the end they will look like the French do, cheese eating surrender monkeys. Remember a coward dies a thousand deaths.
The terrorists will go deeper underground but will resurface from time to time. As long as there are groups that hate us Terror will be with us. Just take a look at Israel. It is better for our troops to risk the bombs and bullets in far away lands than our children risk the bombs and bullets on their way to school. The Dummycrats think there is a solution to Terror. There is not. If we tried to pay them to go away they would only use the money to recruit and arm more suicide murderers.

"His performance was ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC"

This is a perfect example of a whiney, wimpy comment. Get off your complaining arse and help the cause instead of whining all day about it. You had your moment for unhappiness with his performance, now move on to things that matter.

If you are a globalist, I agree Bush did not win any globalist votes. If you believe in our national sovereignty you are very wrong. Bush wiped the floor with Kerry. There is no doubt where both men stand on that issue.
