Michael Moore said last night in a q&a following a speech at the University of Central Arkansas that he was given the same documents that CBS used in its original TexANG story but that he turned them down for inclusion in Farenheit 9/11 because he and his staff did not think they were authentic.
We talked with four university officials who were present at the event and they all said that Moore said this.
He will be speaking at the University of Florida in Gainesville tonight if someone wants to ask him if it was Bill Burkett who gave them to him.
Also, when was Moore given the documents? The American people need to know.
So Rather is even more stupid than Moore!
Like Tommy Flanagan, he's married to Morgan Fairchild. That's the ticket!
I wanna know if Lucy Ramirez called him with the docs as well? Or was it the DNC?
That means they were available BEFORE THE RELEASE of his movie.
That was ??? how many months ago...?
That means CBS and others had plenty of time to scrutinize and verify these documents.

LOL! Dan Rather is more biased than Michael Moore!
Then what did he do with them?
Are Moore's sources protected, or did he name the person who offered them to him?
It's interesting that Mr. Moore kept this under his hat until a month after CBS ran the fake documents story.
I support your confidence. The only thing puzzling me: What did you want with all that doggie crap?
Moore also said he had the Abu Graib photos. Forrest Gump strikes again.
Burkett said C=BS called him. Now you know why. I always thought he was involved somehow. That's why C=BS kept saying it was CON-FIDENT they were authentic.
Oh! Yeah...ME TOO! I had the documents too!....was just sitting on them and waiting for the right time to go public... They're here somewhere...[oops--just spilled coffee on 'em, dagnabit]
This guy is such a liar.
And we have a winner. That is the first thing that came to mind when I read the story.
Hmmm...do you think that this is a CYA tactic because Moore and his minions had something to do with the creation of said documents??? Just thinking out here in housewife land...
MICHAEL MOORE dumber than DAN RATHER?????? No way!!!!
Lol now THAT's a possiblility.
Who know's if Moore is telling the truth or not.
You have to assume he is on this one, because he wouldn't want to help Bush in any way.
Either way, this cBS story needs to stay in the forefront. Everyone needs to know that they are being lied to and manipulated when they watch the "news".
How would you like that for your epitaph?
Amazing- Moore finds a way to come out on the right side of the documents issue and lie at the same time.
