Washington, DC, Oct. 4 (UPI) -- The latest bipartisan Battleground poll of likely voters nationwide showed President George W. Bush leading Democratic nominee John F. Kerry by 7 points. The poll, which is conducted jointly by the Democrat firm Lake Snell Perry and the Republican Tarrance Group, had Bush at 51 percent and Kerry at 44 percent in the final head-to-head general election ballot test conducted over four days beginning Sept. 27. Bush initially had a 3 point lead, 49 percent to 46 percent, in the four day rolling poll of 1,000 likely voters nationwide. Bush's lead increased to 50 percent while Kerry went up one point to 45 percent on Sept. 28. The Sept. 29-30 data had Bush at 51 percent and Kerry down 2 to 44 percent. Five percent said they were undecided each night the survey was in the field. The poll, which was conducted for The George Washington University, had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percent. The results are rolling, meaning 250 likely voters were asked on each day.

Pre-debate, right?
Thanks M! Good News.
No wonder the DemoncRATS are registering so many dead people to vote.
Pre-debate -- old news.
Worth a repeat, even if it was.
Is this a post-debate poll or not??
I'm in this poll!!!!
PRE-DEBATE.
The Sept. 29-30 data had Bush at 51 percent and Kerry down 2 to 44 percent. Five percent said they were undecided each night the survey was in the field.
Yes it is for the 4 days starting Sept. 27, so it ended on debate day.
They haven't released your data yet.
great news. the Battleground Poll has been historically very
reliable.
So does this mean it was post-debate or not???
They polled me last evening.....post debate.
Sorry but this one ended Sept. 30, on Debate day, before the debate.
I'll be in the next one.
This poll uses an even split for democrats and republicans.
Well, then these numbers would be worthless, wouldn't they? ; ) (Thanks.)
No big surprise. The gallup and newspeak polls were fluff polls to help kerry.
Tomorrow Cheney will crush Edwards, and by Firday, things will be back to where they were last Wednesday.
They asked my opinion of the Miller Brewing Company.
I told them it was good beer....:-)
