DOES CNSNEWS.COM HAVE THE STORY OF THE YEAR?

CNS News is a nice little right-of-center web-based wire service operating in Alexandria, Virginia. They seem like pretty solid reporters, and not likely to bite on, say, memos that are supposed to be from an Air National Guard office from 1972 that were created on Microsoft Word.
So it's kind of surprising to see this report:
Iraqi intelligence documents, confiscated by U.S. forces and obtained by CNSNews.com, show numerous efforts by Saddam Hussein's regime to work with some of the world's most notorious terror organizations, including al Qaeda, to target Americans. They demonstrate that Saddam's government possessed mustard gas and anthrax, both considered weapons of mass destruction, in the summer of 2000, during the period in which United Nations weapons inspectors were not present in Iraq. And the papers show that Iraq trained dozens of terrorists inside its borders. One of the Iraqi memos contains an order from Saddam for his intelligence service to support terrorist attacks against Americans in Somalia. The memo was written nine months before U.S. Army Rangers were ambushed in Mogadishu by forces loyal to a warlord with alleged ties to al Qaeda.

One can only hope that this story is carried by
ABC, CBS, CNN. FOX, NBC, AP and NY Times,
the way they all carried the 60 Minutes Bush Smear story.
The same way they all choose to ignore the fact that
Kerry lied AND cheated in Thur night debate.
The way they run "bad stories" in Iraq
about how the military is "losing this war"

Exactly how credible is CNS. I read it once in a while but, I have no idea if they are another Hit or miss outfit like NewsMax.

Ive got my fingers crossed!!!
by the way a few polls that came out today show bush is not doing as bad as many would have us believe. The President does however need to make a much better showing at the townhall meeting.

2- It needs to be ran through as much "main stream" media as possible And while we're at it, let's not forget to get UN approval.

Cool. How fitting that they chose to release it through the New Media, instead of some tired old Press Briefing event.
Hear that sound? It's the sound of irrelevance coming from your local paper.

Hannity mentioned it to Rummy to day while interviewing him.
Rummy knew of the story, but could not comment, yet.

They are in full Bush Bashing, Kerry supporting, mode; they will not let facts get in the way this late in the game. That is correct, but look at the damage CBS has done to itself in the process. I believe that if there's anything to this and the Bush camp wants it out (why wouldn't he?), it will get out, and heaven help the media outlet(s) that try to suppress it. :o)

Problem is Bush and Powell have already agreed that Iraq doesn't have WMD ... or, at least any that can be found. More importantly, they also agreed that there was no credible evidence that Iraq (Saddam) had cooperated with Bin Laden and al Quida. No, they didn't. They acknowledged that WMD haven't been found YET. As to AQ/Saddam links, they said there is no credible evidence that Saddam had anything to do with 9/11 specifically, but that there were known connections between Saddam and Al Qaeda.
