-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday October 02, 2004--The latest Rasmussen Reports Presidential Tracking Poll shows President George W. Bush with 49% of the vote and Senator John Kerry with 46%.
These results are based upon a survey of 3,000 Likely Voters conducted Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday night. As a result, just over one-third of the interviews were conducted following Thursday night's Presidential Debate. Results from last night's sample were similar to the preceding nights. Monday's update will be the first based entirely upon post-debate interviews.
In last night's sample, 6% of voters say they changed their minds following the debate. This includes 3% who are now voting for Kerry, 2% for Bush, and 1% who are now undecided.
The Rasmussen Reports Electoral College projections now show the President ahead 213-169. Rasmussen Reports has recently released state election polls for Arkansas, California, Colorado, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, West Virginia, Washington, Virginia, and Wisconsin. Additional state election polls will be released at 5:00 p.m. Eastern today. The Electoral College projection will be updated if appropriate.
Thanks for the good news
Hmmm... Rasmussen... Newsweek... Rasmussen... Newsweek. Who's right?
My suspicion is that we will see the media Kerry propaganda intensify unbelievably in the next two weeks--probably to the point of overkill--and the deciding factor in this election is now going to be how much cheating the Demotraitors can get away with---
If Newsweek was trying to "go to press" Monday with post debate numbers, Rasmussen itself has shown that weekend polls skew towards the Dems.
... and how effective the GOP Get Out the Vote effort is. If 4,000,000 evangelical Christians stay home in 2004, like they did in 2000, start practicing saying "President Kerry". Everyone at Free Republic needs to contact their local GOP offices and volunteer their services. The GOTV effort will be the key to a Bush win.
Ok, so everyone that was freaking out on the Newsweak poll need to relax. Ok. Everyone say it with me....wooosssaahhhh....wooosssaahhhh
Evidence Bush actually won debate! PING
ALSO
The Rasmussen Reports Electoral College projections now show the President ahead 213-169.
---absolutely---

Don't ya just love it when they are so delusional!
Neither.......gallup polls are the only sure thing. They've got a proven track record. These polls do not.
Rasmussen has consistently been the least volatile poll.
He is reporting on sample size of an averaged 3000 respondents over a 3 day period. The others are reporting anywhere from 800 to 1200.
I'd go with Rasmussen before the others.
FWIW, the oddsmakers at all the offshore online betting parlors still show our guy the clear favorite, with little change!
What this means is newsweek has shown it is an arm of the democrat party, and are trying to help Mr, Kerry.
Poll Date...Pubbies....Dems....Indies....Men....Women . . 9/11/04........391........300......270......481....522 10/2/04........345........364......278......481....532
Thanks for ping Tonk:)
ALSO- though it's pre-debate...Mort n Fred just had Bush at 344 and Kerry at 194...
BOINK - a bump with more enthusiasm...
Newsweek oversampled demoncrats in the new poll and undersampled them in the previous poll in order to show a decrease for the President. Princeton Associates polling is run by a couple of demoncrat hacks.
I can tell you from personal experiance that folks who normally are kind of wishy washy told me that GWB rung their bell.
I think that folks want a leader not a diplomat.
Bush won Thur debate
