That was Ted Kennedy's excuse anyway. He wrote the bill(actually amendment) S Amdt 2619.

Rossie O'Donnell is for concealed carry laws, just not for us, the peasants. Her body guards can carry them to protect her family but we must rely on the police.
Same thing with Kerry or any other liberal, they close off hunting to the rest of us so there is more room for them and their donors. They complain about the environment, but buy huge chunks of land and turn it into their own ski resort for themselves and their hollywood weirdo pals (Robert Redford).

This ad ran in our local paper here in Venice, FL -- the "Gondolier". It was great! I cut it out and taped it to the door of our GOP HQ here in town!
Good on yer, NRA!

Heh, heh, heh... I stuck that ad front and center on our local
NRA Members' Council website.
(Though, in retrospect, the poodle should have been dyed orange!)

Come on DfM, you know we won't be needing our .30-30 WINs to crawl around hunting deer on our bellies with our trusty double barrels. Don't you know anything about hunting?
Sarcasm, for those who don't recognize it.

I can see how poodles would be usefull to hunters as they mostly are small enough to launch from a trap for target practice.

"...video game Doom II..."
That's as far as the libs want us to go outdoors with our sport; video games. Same with self defense.

I know that, had a neighbor when a child that owned a standard that took the human for a walk, or should I say drag!
I'm joking about toy poodles, which I really don't have anything against. A large number of people who own tiny dogs seem to have a problem disciplining their pets, thus the spelling changes to pest.
