| John Kerry Flip Flop/Lies
Posted on 09/29/2004 7:31:53 AM PDT by PhiKapMom
Appearing on ABC's Good Morning America today, John Kerry offered yet another explanation for his trademark line "I actually did vote for the $87 billion before I voted against it": it was late at night, and he was tired:
It was a very inarticulate way of saying something and I had one of those moments late in the evening when I was tired in the primaries and didn't say something clearly. But it reflects the truth of the position, which is, I thought, to have the wealthiest people in America share the burden of paying for that war. It was a protest. Sometimes you have to stand up and be counted.
Just one problem: Kerry made the statement at noon. See this Washington Post Article from March:
"I actually did vote for his $87 billion, before I voted against it," he told a group of veterans at a noontime appearance at Marshall University.

This is a real gem from the Bush-Cheney Office Blog -- Kerry got caught again with his lies and once again the media ignored!

Reminds me of Bubba addressing wealthy supporters at a evening dinner party in Dallas and telling them he hadn't taxed them enough. When asked about the comment later, he said he should of followed his mother's advice to not make off the cuff comments when he's tired.

Once again making his petty "protest" at the expense of soldiers in the field.
Kerry is truly despicable.

Kerry needs the following courses:

I thought he said he taxed them too much. Anyway, you're right, it reminds me of the 'toon.
To: PhiKapMom
Thanks for the ping! It certainly IS pathological when a candidate cannot tell the difference between the truth and non-truth. Most people would forgive some hyperbole in an election season, but this doofus doesn't even live in the real world with the rest of us!

The worse statement was his second, "I wanted to rich to share in the cost of this war". Kerry should be forced to define "rich". Everyone knows the "rich", to a demonrat, is any married pair, whose combined salaries total 50k per year.
I don't care what number of democrats are suffering from the psychological illness of envy and greed, which is a much more serious disease than alcohol, or Meth, no American should have 40 to 50% of his earnings stolen to satisfy the avarice of the envious and power hungry.
To: PhiKapMom
Great post. With Kerry, lying, exaggeration, and fantasizing is the the norm.
Send this to Drudge, Fox and Rush if they haven't already seen it. Fox, I'm sure, would like to tweak the nose of another MSM network.

Unbelievable. At least Kerry is consistent in something... lying on a daily basis.
