What the hell has ABC done to Monday Night Football? The opening was stupid, and now at halftime they've dressed up an NFL player in drag (makeup and a ballerina costume) while a gay guy does a photoshoot of it?
Not to mention that all of their promos for upcoming ABC shows are full of innuendo. Cosell must be spinning in his grave.
It's just harder and harder to avoid stupid or vile on TV.
We're thankful we don't have to tolerate Madden, whatever he is.
Sonny Jurgenson and Sam Huff do the game on radio (107.6 FM). They "make" the game for us. It's more informative and done with more insight.
No, he actually was the only one to do anything halfway impressive with tonight's challenge(each given $1000 and told to be creative and bold in using it within 12 hours). Really lame, just a bunch of average people with limited creativity and vision, but lots of cliche talk.
He made the final 6, but someone else will have to update from here on out, I'm not wasting any more time with that lame show.
What a catch by Bryant! Go Dallas!
You talkin' 'bout that redskin reciever?lol
Unbelievable. 1st and 10 on the Skins 11..
And the Lance Armstrong Foundation is a marvelous Foundation.
Best of luck to you.
TOUCHDOWN!! Testaverde to Whitten!
Yes! Touchdown!!!
Few seemed to support Dennis Miller, but I enjoyed that so much; often I turn the sound down now, but I found I was missing if I tuned Miller out.
And I'm not all that big of a fan of Miller but on Monday Night football, he was excellent.
Soooo, did anyone notice, or even care, that the NFL has banned the players wearing the #40 in honor of Pat Tillman??
Did you know that it carries a $5,000 fine??
Of course, none of these over-paid girly men had the guts to wear it tonite.
Dallas owns the Redskins.
*sigh*
It looks like one of those Lance Armstrong Livestrong bands.
Damn it....I thought I was finally over that but now you've reopened the wounds. Thanks.
That'd be alright. And I suppose enough households get basic cable that the drop in viewership won't be appreciable.
The perverts at ABC entertainment were probably given a free hand to 'spice up' Monday Night Football. Ya know, the 'push the envelope' ABC talks about every season, which is really just the copout strategy of turning to shock to get attention.
Perhaps one reason why they are in last place.
You're not alone. I enjoyed Dennis Miller on Monday Night Football. I like Madden just fine, but Miller really worked well for me. : )
Ah...if only we could get Rush Limbaugh to do MNF. Now that would rock.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I just flipped over to Seinfeld. It was one of the lamest episodes ("The Reverse Peephole"), but better than watching that.
