The rally took place at Voice of America Park in West Chester, Ohio, today. Sean Hannity interviewed several people who were there. The number of people who had tickets was over 60,000, and even more showed up. Hannity said it was the largest political rally in Ohio's history, and one of the largest ever. Enjoy the pics:
This was in Xenia, Ohio, where the bus stopped so the president could greet people:
This was right up the road from me, but didn't get a chance to go. Saw one hort clip on Fox, though, where Bush observed that Kerry had flip-flopped so many times he could debate HIMSELF for 90 minutes.
Nice shot, George.
Extraordinary!!!
Wonder if CBS will report this.
This president draws crowds like that. Kerry buses people in so he doesn't have to talk to an empty hall.

The 'rats were all atwitter about the 10,000 union workers and college students they got in Madison, WI a week or so ago. They're in a delusional denial so complete, it's hard to fathom.

60,000.... That's greater than the population of American Samoa....
Sean Hannity had several people on his radio show this afternoon who were there, including the singer, Daryl Worley. They all said the number of people with tickets was 60,000, but that more people than that showed up. Also that it was the largest political rally ever in the history of Ohio.
Not a chance, CBS will probably do a story on how the Bush visit angered some of the residents because it caused a traffic jam....
Absolutely! That's the key to it all.
Not Photoshopped. You can click the Yahoo News Photos link above to see for yourself.
I saw clips of this and Kerrys speech today on Fox. The President was relaxed and obviously enjoying himself. Kerry was talking to a town hall group who showed no enthusiasm and barely clapped. It did my heart good to see the comparison.
Honing lines of attack before the first debate of the 2004 White House race, President George W. Bush said Democrat John Kerry shifts positions on Iraq so often he "could spend 90 minutes debating himself"
You are so right. Even here in Dem-land (Los Angeles), the excitement seems to be all on the Republican side.
To hear the rats tell it there is near 100% unemployment in Ohio...
That Leftist crumudgeon, S.L. Lee is hating this. I can see him sulking, there in his secret evil laboratory in Columbus.
S. L. Lee's site, cleverly disguised as a harmless overseas business and culture site. Go check out the forums, particularly the one called "Our World.":

WHY DO ALL THE PEOPLE AROUND BUSH SMILE ALL THE TIME ..AND WHY DO ALL THE PEOPLE AROUND KERRY SEEM TO BE FROWNING ALL THE TIME???
.
This is exciting news -- huge, enthusiastic crowd! Thanks for the pix.
