Based at Prairie Chapel Ranch, the president is preparing for the first debate with the sometime Senator, John Kerry, this Thursday, and campaigning.
SATURDAY: In his weekly radio address, President Bush said, "This week, I was honored to welcome the Prime Minister of a free and sovereign Iraq to the White House."
SUNDAY: President Bush said he had no regrets about his 'Mission Accomplished' speech on Iraq in May 2003 and would do it all over again if he had the chance, according to excerpts from an television interview released on September 26. As Vietnam veteran Tommy Franks wrote in American Soldier, it was Franks' idea, and the USS Abraham Lincoln was the unapologized-for chosen format, to find a way to acknowledge our troops' overwhelming success in toppling the Hussein regime in a matter of weeks.
TODAY: President Bush campaigned in Ohio.

With a blue ribbon you at least increase the winner's self-esteem. A toaster just gives you brown bread. :)
no way!! 60!! wow! weren't they expecting around 46? what a wonderful surprise! think the mediawhores will show some of it?
Nothing like a good oldfashioned blast of gravitas!
NO....we won't hear a word from the MSM....
Hi kids!
Note the P-VP matching tie color. Nice touch! Go Bush-Cheney '04!!
But I do miss the limp wrist and gay yellow arm band photos of his opponent. ;)

Thank you for the dose. It's so touching to view our President in these great pics. I appreciate your work.
Hi Gretchen and everyone!
Thanks in advance for what I'm sure will be wonderful pictures (my computer is slow but wanted to thank you!)
All--did anyone see Kerry today? Looks like he really overloaded on the self-tanner/bronzer . . . I think he's going to be dripping it all over the podium during the debate Thurs.
VCR alert--the Pres. and Laura will be on Dr. Phil on Wednesday! The interview was done on the ranch and they'll talk about parenting, among other things. Robin (Dr. Phil's wife) was part of the interview too.
This Bush drooler thanks you for all the pics. Those of Barney and Cheney are just icing on the cake!
***60,000 in Ohio to see our Prez.....WOW!***
That's a LOT of people! How much did he lose Ohio by in 2000? This should make a BIG dent . . .
Rumor has it, Kerry isn't getting any crowds at all . . . awwwwwwwww (smiling)
Thanks (-:
G'day Gretchen! Thanks for the ping. Ahhh - what a great way to start my day!!! :-)
Thanks so much for the great pictures, G.To all, if you haven't seen the video on the Bush web site from the Minn. bus tour, it is just great.
Hello homemom how are you not spoken for a few days.
Ha!
Kerry turned "algore orange" over night!
Hi Snugs--
How are you?
We spent the weekend at a big cattle/sheep/pig/chicken show. It was a great time. Wish the President would have been there--he's visited several livestock shows. Alas, not this one. :-) So . . . we're all tired but otherwise fine.
The color is kind of scary, isn't it??? Maybe it was some kind of Botox reaction--looks like he went in for another treatment within the last few days. UGH. He tries soooo hard to look "attractive" and it sure doesn't work.
Contrast, President Bush, who just gets more and more handsome as he "ages".
Haven't seen Jenna and Barbara on the campaign trail lately. Anyone know what they're doing?
They were up in Wisconsin or Minnesota here recently.
I think they're keeping a lower profile, mostly meeting with volunteers and youth organizations.
As for kerry, we're planning a party for Thursday night so we can all sit around and laugh as he melts like a giant orange candle under the heat the prez is going to send his way!
(wicked laughter)
Bush won Ohio in 2000...and he will win it again in Nov.
Great photos, Gretchen - thanks for the Dose!
