But that question isn't the issue that dominates the debate.

If a Democrat lies in the middle of the woods where there is nobody to hear him, can he still be nominated as their candidate for President?
Shalom.

He didn't lie, and neither did Powell.
And for those idiots like O'Reilly who state "There are no WMD's", well I sure would like to see THEIR "proof".
Most of us believe they existed and still exist. Maybe those who knew their location were already executed by the time we took control, the secret gone with them.

Welcome to FR. Things slow over at du today? Give me your hand and I'll slowly pull you back until you can grip the handle you just flew off of so you can read the article that probably should have been better excerpted.

YEs, and about the WMD he was not lying for once.
The Elder Bush knew there were WMD's.
Have you forgotten the 155mm binary chemical artillery shell rigged as an IED in Iraq?

I'm guessing nobody read the LAST LINE OF THE ARTICLE. The one that tips you that the President being referred to in the article WAS CLINTON.
I weep for the future.

Yes, it is a fantastic article. I read it before seeing it posted here. Sarcasm is lost on some people.

Had trouble copying the text..wouldn't paste in....but, it kinda made the point, didn't it?
This is very good ammunition! This would make a great campaign ad.

At the time he gave this speech I distinctly remember our president advancing the notion that if we didn't stop Saddam when we did we probably would not be able to stop him in the future. I did not nor do I care now whether he had amassed tons of WMD's, there is evidence that he HAD them in his country by the traces he left behind. I remember hearing stories about Sadam ordering WMD's to be buried and then when these guys would return from burying it all he would have them killed so no one would be able to find anything.
No one can convince me that what we are doing is not worth it.

You should weep for the future of the writer because the question about whether Clinton lied definitely doesn't dominate this campaign or any other. Why should I read to the bottom of an article that starts out with nonsense?

If Bush ever lied about anything, the Dims and the MSM would adore him. I rest my case.

If you don't need to read the article, then what are you doing here on FR?
I come here for information to defeat liberalism, and a bunch of other "isms."
Geez...people calling me a "democrat." Them's fightin' words.
Oh, well...it livened things up a bit.
