DC Chapter 6th Anniversary meeting

Howdy.
Today, the DC Chapter met to celebrate 6 years of activism. The honor roll included Kristinn, Angelwood and husband, tgsltakoma, bufordp, staytrue, billf, hellinahandcart, trueblackman, rabidralph, sauropod and relatives, and gunsareok.
We celebrated our successes over the past years and recounted narrow escapes, including BufordP and the Red Lobster story.

Thanks. I got a haircut and a perm -- and lost 25 pounds over the summer.
This week, it's the DC Chapter's 6th Anniversary and next week I'll be traveling to Ohio for a family reunion and my high school reunion. I'm feeling pretty chipper these days.

Are you guys going to be at the March for Life in January?
Today our parish priest mentioned it and said they were looking into chartering a bus and all that.
I have family in DC area so that's an additional reason to go if I can afford it and get the time off from work. It would be way cool to get to meet up with some FReepers as well.

Also, she helped me put together the mini signs for the cake and used her artist's eye to place them just so. No surprise as she's extremely talented. New York's loss is certainly your gain. Happy Anniversary to a deserving bunch of patriots.
