"Marines, being taught to adapt and overcome, always put their stickers on the inside of the vehicle doors because these things are not air conditioned and they travel with the doors open.

Tex, thanks for the clarification. Even tho I have not studied the GGMMM, I do know that "materiel" is military weapons and supplies, and "material" is what I use to make curtains. Hey, d'ya suppose those Marines could use some curtains for their vehicles? Something red,white and blue....with a lot of "W"s on it?? (and here we have a fine example of thread drift! sorry!)

This photo is from somewhere overseas and is affixed to a US military helicopter door. The helicopter and it's crew are engaged is combat operations. Above the Swiftee sticker is an M-60 (7.62mm) machine gun. That is a all I can divulge.

Exactly.....and I sure hope the Dems are not able to dienfranchise the military vote this year as they did in FL in 2000. I pray every day that FL and other critical states are solidly for GWB so there is no need for recounts.

Of course it was ME!! When I sent the pilot (a former co worker of mine at DoD contractor here in Jacksonville, FL), an email with pictures of the Swiftee sticker, he sent me $60 and asked for 3 stickers. I knew exactly where there going and so did he! I also sent him the "Veterans for Bush" stickers that he requested. He only semt the obe picture of his helicopter and has be VERY busy flying Marines all over the place in Afghanistan. Oops, I guess I let the cat outta the bag!
