Kurtz also reports Fox rejected one of two new Media Fund ads, the one about "the Saudis have invested tens of millions of dollars in Bush business ventures."

Fox seems to be in 'appeasement' mode quite a bit lately-- are they under pressure to get their ad rates up?

Fox viewers don't need to see the Swifties ad. Let the MSM viewers take a look.

Playing that commercial on Fox News is preaching to the choir. Play this commercial in local markets with undecided voters who can swing their states towards Bush.
It does not specifically accuse Kerry of treason. It accuses him of "betraying this country" which is no worse than Gore accused Bush of---and furthermore, the evidence they cite is admitted to by Kerry himelf.

I agree. Swiftees should play this on the Alphabet networks, not on Fox.

I don't think that they Swifty ads accuse Kerry of treason, but of betrayal. There is a difference.

The question is, does Kerry refute anything that is said in the ad? The last one turned out to be true, and so would this one...Fox needs to re-think this...there is a difference between rejecting outright falsehoods (the other two ads) and rejecting the truth. On the other hand, it is Fox's choice and we have to respect that. The ad will still get out, and it will be heard. John Kerry was and is a traitor, a treasonous slime who has no business looking after the welfare of this country in any way shape or form. The bigger story will be that Fox rejected it, and the Vice Presiden't of Fox's quote will become the big news. Tee Hee.

...it "accuses Kerry of treason, a crime punishable by death." The Swiftees didn't forge their evidence.
It's a matter of public record.
The fact that John Kerry's is honored as a war hero by the North Vietnamese with his photo in the War Remnants Museum in Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City is proof positive that he is a traitor.

Ketchupman did commit treason. And judged by the standards of today, he committed crimes against humanity too. He admitted that to the congressional committee in '71. So why is Fox reticent?

The people at Fox have been apparently warned not to label Kerry's acts as treason by their lawyers and top brass.
Yesterday on Sean's radio show, I believe it was Zell Miller yesterday who labeled Kerry's actions post Nam and now as acts of treason. Sean went out of his way to distance himself from any words of treason.

It may not be such a bad thing. Now everyone's going to want to see the ad, and the Swifties aren't spending any money to run it!
Think clever, guys :-).
