The Fort Worth Star-Telegram published this article earlier about Burkett which contained this.........."Burkett denied his actions were done at the behest of the Kerry campaign, although he acknowledged -- as has Kerry's campaign -- that he spoke with a staff worker about Bush."

I question the timing of all of this. When the going gets tough, the liberals come up with medical excuses to allow themselves to drop out of the glare of publicity long enough to get their stories together, and/or to gain public sympathy.
