It's posible he kept documents of his accounts with Lockhart and the Dems. Burkett has been around a long time in politics. He's familiar with the dirty tricks his own party plays, he himself has played.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if he documented papers and tape to prove this collusion.

Burkett is a military man with an exit strategy. I'm betting he has proof of these allegations. Denied disability, he is looking for cash and doesn't really care from where it comes.
Kerry said today that Bush hadn't held anyone accountable in his administration. Is Lockhart still on Kerry's team? And why are there no questions to Kerry during his press ops regarding this scandal?

Well, w/these kind of charges, I just pray Mr. Burkett doesn't have an untimely accident. There are some powerful people out there who are anti-implosive, and will go to extremes to carry that out.

If Mapes was in Texas with Burkett and could have just picked up the memos from Burkett, why is anything faxed from Kinkos in Abiline?

The amazing thing was, O'Donnell didn't even look the least bit embarrassed after defending the Lockhart/Mapes contact.
