A near-perfect analysis of a near-perfect speech!

"I'm going to tell you something, folks."

Do you get the sense that Kerry is trying to imitate the down to earth touch of Rush. Kerry says "folks" so many times with so little effect. To Rush, it comes natural.

But to sKerry it just sounds like he's speaking a foreign language and has no idea what he is saying.

Thanks for posting this. It is a great analysis, not only of GWB's speech but also of Annan's. Without enforcement, there is no rule of law.

"he's speaking a foreign language and has no idea what he is saying."

And neither does anyone who actually listens. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. Sure.

I was working and did not get the chanch to see or here the President at the UN, but from what I'm reading here, this is why Bush will win.

Imagine Kerry at the UN today.

It's a scary thought.

Yup, I noticed he is pulling a Gore too.
I'm waiting for Fox or others to ask:
Which position will Kerry take tomorrow, and who will he be tomorrow?

Oh, Does Kerry plan to break his neck to respond to everything Bush says publically like he is doing now? If so then this could get really funny FAST!!! Bush should start messing with him, and say all kinds of stuff so Kerry will show himself to be the fool he is more often.

BTW, can anyone direct me to where I can get a transcript of Kerrys response to W's speech to the U.N. today?

A bunker buster on the UN while in session would win the war on terror.

I was proud of My President.

Know what I notice?

Liberals have no pride without victory.

My heart swells with Pride when I watch our President. He wasn't going to come out of their hailed as the greatest man since Winston Churchill. The press core was not going to remark at his bravery for entering that environment. When they mention his message they state he is still defending his Iraq policy from critics.

That isn't what he is doing.

Bush is preaching the ultimate message of love by urging responsibility to seek freedom for the oppressed, even if the cost is great. He speaks of selflessness and peace. Of sacrifice and the value of Liberty in securing the type of society they proclaim to desire.

Win or lose, I am proud to support this man and that will not change.

The Dems cannot say the same. When they lose, depression is born and from that hatred builds. Their pride is rooted on changing variables. Ours is rooted in our constant values. I'll hold my head up high when speaking well of this man, even if his time as our president comes to an end this year. Though I pray daily God blesses us with another four years.

The United Nations is one big worldwide redistribution of wealth scam from the United States to American hating nations.

Get out of the UN.

My wife listened to most of the speech on C-SPAN radio (90.1 FM in DC area.) Ann just said she was so proud of him.
