Chris, Thank you for your service. Welcome home and welcome to Free Republic.
It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press.
It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech.
It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate.
It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag."
To: cyncooper
Chris,
Welcome back, and my deepest thanks for all you've done.
We appreciate all you've done. We're so very proud of you.

Someone should send a letter to Kerry --- maybe Kerry would show up to welcome him home and give his thanks too???
Give me a break. Kerry would call him a "WAR CRIMINAL" and "BABY KILLER"....and as you can tell, I am not a Kerry fan and for good reason.
My thanks to that young man for his service. SEMPER FI !!!
