The internals of the Pennsylvania poll show that it's a tad bit Dem heavy. So Bush is most likely up in this state as well. Everything looks good for Bush except Michigan. Don't know why he can't make any headway there. The battle is now definenlty in the blue states.

In reporting these polls, MSNBC noted that Michigan's unemployment rate today is more than twice as high as it was in 2000, and is well above the national average. Also, Michiganders are very eager to import pharmaceuticals from Canada -- something the Bush administration opposes but that Kerry has indicated he would support.

This is great news. Clearly, Kerry is on the defensive in the Gore states.

Oregon!
Isn't that a bit shocking?
How did they end up in 2000?
To: Nascardude
Bush can win MI. Kerry should be up there by double digits. My guess is it'll come to down to turnout in Detroit. If he keeps imploding, that may not be enough to save him.

Can anyone confirm this? I must say, if true, I am very upset with Bush. This is a stupid move.
Three debates,
Sep 30 Florida....Subject: Iraq and homeland security
Oct 8 Missouri... Town hall style (Can't believe he agreed to this)
Oct 13 Arizona Subject: Domestic issues
VP debate: Oct 5 Ohio

Iowa, NM, Oregon and Wisconsin. Those Iowa numbers are looking especially good. PA hanging in there. NY in play along with NJ.
Looks like our states from 2000 are solidifying and we are taking this fight to their turf.

I have heard that the Mason-Dixon Poll is a very reliable one, anyone know if this is true?

Michigan has a disproportionately high Muslim population. I think I remember reading that it's highest or second highest in the country.
Detroit, the high college population, the Muslim explosion, the peace-nicks, and the unemployment rate are making this state almost unwinnable for Bush right now.
On a brighter note, it looks like Wisconsin and its 10 EVs have moved from blue to red. It seems to be a finished conversion, at least for this year. Good news!!!

Bush only lost Oregon to Gore by 5,000 votes and thats not much for this liberal state. Oregonians have been trending conservative for some time now.

Ras, I think, has Bush up by 1-2 in PA, so it's pretty close there with Bush probably ahead by 1 or 2. But it's not a growing lead, so far, like Wisconsin or Ohio.
I WANT Michigan, just for the heck of it. I want a total Bush sweep of the midwest. Nothing but coasts for the ultra-lefties.
