A DAY (A FEW DAYS) IN THE LIFE OF PRESIDENT BUSH (PHOTOS): 9.18-20.04

Sunday the President met with First Responders in Alabama, in the aftermath of Hurricane Ivan, saying, "I want to thank the search and rescue teams from all over the United States who are here, using every possible asset they have to find those who are still missing." He comforted residents during a walking tour of neighborhoods damaged by Hurricane Ivan in Pensacola, Florida.

Today President Bush campaigned in Derry, N.H., before heading to New York City for meetings at the United Nations.

wow, I never knew that about the hand on right in maze... growing up we had the tunnel mazes.. I used to get pretty nervous in them. the dead ends & you have dozens of "friends" behind you. I have never done an "open maze"

Am I the only one who thinks Children of the Corn.. seeing a shot at end of maze & some of the little "kiddies" wandering out?

He is a nice looking man, but he's in trouble in Alabama. He is a Republican who tried to guilt us into voting for higher taxes.. I feel kind of sorry for him sometimes because a Dem. left a mess for him, but when he went to churches and proclaimed any one who didn't vote yes for taxes was close to a sinner, let's just say he's done for.

Is FR running slow tonight or is it just my pitiful computer? Every thread seems to be slow in posting.

That is a hard concept for me to grasp.. the time zones. I just cannot imagine that it is day time somewhere or a completely new day somewhere else. Just too much for my tired brain to handle.

Hi, snugs!
I'm not going to hang around, I just finished dinner and I'm back to work!
I hope all is well with you, prayers for your dad and mum (and you of course!).
Dick and Lynne were in my city this afternoon, but I didn't see them. We got caught in a little cross-town traffic on their account, however, so I feel honored!

Okay Aussie Friend. Now you are confusing me. It is Monday, here in the States, that is.

You had me going for a second there.

Hello to both of you!
Wish I could hang out, but duty calls. I took a dinner break and that's all I'm going to afford myself this evening.
Hope all is well with you!
Our prez looked GREAT today and he's going to look even better on November 3rd!!!

Columbus has about 1 million people, but we're also near the country. 5 minutes from my house is farm land and forests. Go the other direction and it's movie theaters, shopping malls and restaurants. A great city to live in!
