Phil Parlock did NOT stage this story! The union admits it's true! Spread the word!

I wont be satisfied until the guy in the baseball cap loses his job and is arrested for child abuse.

I'd like to see the public announcement of the punishment meted out on the individual(s) involved and not just swept under the rug (such as 'shame on you for getting caught on camera).

But mostly, we're upset that someone caught it on film.

I was one of the ones who wrote the prez, and I'm glad to see he took a proper step. The next one, in my view, is dismissal from the union for this punk (and probably the loss of his job). And I have no sympathy for the idiot. If I wore my firm's T-shirt and pulled such an outrageous stunt, I'd be fired for sure.
I also hope the police consider pressing assault charges.

I cannot help but wonder to what extent Freeper emails motivated this statement. I certainly sent one, as I am sure many Freepers did.

YEA!
Good for him.
At this point he didn't have MUCH of a choice. But glad he did the right thing.

SPIDERMAN: Don't know if you've seen this, but the union thugs are backing down, at least officially.
Can anyone send this to DU?

When the thug is expelled from the union, and the union files charges against him, then we can believe what this union Thug President has said.
None of that internal bs.

I am glad that someone stood up and did the right thing for once.
The picture of that little girl crying over the destruction of her sign was quite distressing. It made the libs look like the true fools that they are. Adults that would take and destroy signs from children are immature at best. The pushing and shoving that went on was inexcusable.
The left wing radicals don't care who they hurt in their quest to keep President Bush from being reelected.

Three-year-old Sophia Parlock cries while seated on the shoulders of her father, Phil Parlock, after having their Bush-Cheney sign torn up by Kerry-Edwards supporters on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004, at the Tri-State Airport in Huntington, W.Va. Democratic vice presidential candidate John Edwards (news - web sites) made a brief stop at the airport as he concluded his two-day bus tour to locations in West Virginia and Ohio. Well, good for them. I certainly appreciate this type of apology vs. the Dan Rather type of go to the wall garbage.
Hope this incident sheds sunshine on that type of lousy behavior. Sunshine is, indeed, the best type of disinfectant.
