"We don't need no stinking evidence".
But even the LAT admits that in view of the amount of evidence about the memos being fake, "it would require a willful suspension of disbelief to take them as merely coincidental."
What a snotty little editorial.
They know they've been had, and are pissed.
Is this an editorial?
I would not want to be found on the side of those who make such a sweeping assertion.
You'd think if they were going to print DNC talking points, they would at least change some of the wording around a bit.
They are going to have a bad month or two.
And then add 4 years.
CBS may have managed to place Bush's Vietnam-era service off-limits as a campaign issue, after weeks when John F. Kerry's impressive record has been under savage attack. Bush gave a smirky speech Monday to the National Guard Assn., waxing on about the patriotic sacrifices of the Guard's men and women over the years.
Well, it reads like one, but it was in their NEWS section, NOT the editorial section.
Oh my gosh, they are finally noticing the Word stuff. Yeah... Four... More... Years. What do they do after meltdown mode?
Michael Kinsley has taken over as editor of the LA Times editorial page where truth and patriotism is beheaded daily.
John O'Neill said on Hannity & liberal, that the Swifties are bringing out another ad.
We need to keep those ads on the air.

I am getting ready with my second donation.
"they are not victims but accessories to a crime."
I agree completely.
The LAT piece reflects well the liberal frustration with CBS. And Kerry's record in Nam was indeed "impressive." It certainly "impressed" me. It is "impressed" on my mind. I will not soon forget it.
I guess we forgot that Bill Clinton went to Oxford U in England to avoid service? And that was ok with the Democrats, But Bush in the Guard wasn't enough?
Face it, all of our politicians are being bred from family and party lines. There is a whole lot of spoon feeding going on on both sides of the political spectrum. Can anyone name a current US Senator or Representitive's son who is serving in Iraq currently? Whats new?
As far as CBS News, Their obligation is to report the news, not fabricate it. If it wasn't for NFL on CBS, I would never watch the network anyhow. Rather's lack of credibility has been evident to me for years. Whats new?
Other than CBS has a vendetta against President Bush.
At least it is completely verifiable.
I would compare this to a Bank Manager holding a forged check in his hand that was stolen from George W. Bush, and asking him what he was doing in the Whore House the check was written to
exact same thing I thought, except I imiagined it was a junior editor on night duty.
