NO KIDDING......I said that last week: it's awfully convenient that documents apear that answer ALL the supposed rumors almost word for word!
Love that picture...so true. Kerry is so busted. Even the suspicion that these memos came from the Kerry camp is enough to ensure he loses the election...as one poster put it Rather lied and Kerry (campaign) died.

Harkin is a low life, I just don't believe Robert Byrd and Pat Leahy are as low.
CBS knows these are forgeries, and in my opinion they knew this or at least suspected it before airing that bogus report. Also, we have Barne's daughter saying her Dad told her he lied. CBS and Kerry look ....like road kill.

They won't give it up. How dumb can you be. CBS, you've lost your credibility. You are now on the level of the Globe and the Enquirer. Before any of us believe, we must research elsewhere.
I wouldn't be suprised of the TANG memos are traced back to Tom Harkin. I saw part of his news conference on Thursday.
Everybody needs to put the heat on over at cbsnews.com. Here is the Comment I sent to them:
Shameful. Disgraceful.
Mr. Rather, just admit it: You were duped. You were caught with your journalistic credibility down around your ankles. You were willing to believe anything that would damage President Bush's chances for re-election.
Your documents are forgeries. Obvious, childish hoaxes. You did not verify their authenticity, and now you look like a fool.
Mainstream media has almost no credibility left. To salvage what tattered remains exist of your reputation, you should immediately:
1) Admit that you shamelessly reported a slanderous hoax and presented it as unvarnished truth. Apologize for doing so.
2) Publicly state from whom you obtained the forgeries.
3) Turn the originals over to the FBI. This is quite possibly a criminal case.
Until you do these three things, I refuse to watch your news "show" and I will no longer support your advertisers. There are millions others like me.

Have any documentation as to the authenticity of the picture? If there is a PR or something that goes with it, we send the documentation to Ollie North. Bet he remembers the problem these Sandanistas gave him and will take the data from there!
I agree. CBS is hoping against hope that the news cycle will move on. They are now in stonewall mode. It remains to be seen if it works.
You can believe the ONLY reason anybody is talking about handwritten notes is because Killian's widow said he only wrote in longhand on small scraps of paper.
That "it would look better on TV" is an isult to our collective intelligence.
Okay. So what were the copies copied from? And how did they arrive at SeeBS? By FedEx? UPS? Bicycle courier? Carrier pigeon?
