Bush leads the stickers 10 to 1 at the York PA Fair (VANITY)

Folks, great news from the battleground Keystone State. The great York Fair is underway where I spent the afternoon staffing an informational booth and people watching.

The folks sporting "Bush-Cheney" stickers definitely outnumbered the "Kerry-Edwards" stickers by at least 10 to 1.

Two other interesting obeservations: Many of the Kerry sticker wearers also wore Bush stickers, causing one to wonder whether they were really committed to any candidate or just to collecting stickers. Or maybe they were flip-floppers like John F.

Even more significant, there was a Police sponsored fake narcotic display nearby. The Kerry sticker folks were the ones who stared at the collection with rapt attention.

Did the Kerry voters think they were going to get some free drugs out of the cops?

Was this a suburbs-heavy context, or representative of the PA vote at large?

Typical midstate (the red "T" between blue Philly and Pittsburgh). 90% Caucasian but all economic levels represented.

It can't be reliable -- there's a link for foreign nationals to "assist in regime change in Washington" by pushing for Americans abroad to vote.

Oh yeah, YORK Co. is all Republican. I should know, it was my ancestors from germany who settled in York Co. in early 1700's. Would be a lot of dead rolling in the graves there if Kerry was being supported.

I dont know who does the polling n that site but he has about 5 states I would consider wrong.

Florida should be +2 for Bush not tied
PA should be tied, he has it leaning Kerry
Nevada should be +2 Bush not tied
Wisconsin should be +2 Bush not leaning Kerry
CO should be a tie not leaning Kerry

I take my averages from pollingreport.com. I throw out the extreme polls(the ones that show plus 10 when everybody else has it +2 or tied) and oldest one to come up with these averages.

The only sKerry supporters around York Co. are either union members who are told who to vote for, or nursing home residents that have been "visited" and are scared into voting for him. Don't want to get thrown out of the nursing home, W is going to come and get you.

Oh yeah, forgot all the freaks in collage.

Oh yeah, YORK Co. is all Republican.

For municipal elections, County officials, and representatives to the State assembly and Senate the only real contest is the Republican primary. The General election is just a formality.

They probably had to wipe the drool off the display.

Jeez guys learn about PA, this is great I'm from York and 70% of the people in York County are behind Bush, the same for Adams, Franklin, Cumberland and all the other rural counties but there are more liberal voters in Philadelphia and Alleghney County than the rest of the state combined. In 2000 Gore won Philadelphia by more votes than he won the state.

by pushing for Americans abroad to vote.

I suspect that most Americans abroad support Bush.

My count here in southern OH (Dayton)---and I'm trying to make sure that I do not count any car twice, and that I count all "Hate Bush" stickers as pro-Cheney, but count no "United We Stand" or "God Bless America" or "Support Our Troops" for Bush---is 87:41, Bush.

I was about to ask if there was an opium den at the fair... That would've increased Kerry supporter attendance a thousand fold.
