This man is just beginning to regain his honor right here and right now. I wouldn't say that. He went back into the military and served a full career of combined active and reserve service. He earned his honor back. I'd say today was just the final installment.

Gen. McPeak..zzzzzzzzzzzz

If a vet who was "not on the boat" can't say anything about kerry, then why is a pilot at 30,000 feet saying anything about this?
McPeak works for kerry.
Klass is classless.

gee Bob Jones, worked for clinton.
Now come the DNC talking points.
They are not confronting the Swift vets. The ONLY thing of relevance is that they said "no so swift vets". oooh what a zinger.

Unfortunately I fear he could still be elected!I wouldn't want to really see this, because my heart couldn't take it, I fear, but Clinton v. George W. Bush would be the epic battle of the ages. It might even immanentize the eschaton. In '96 I really wanted to see Mr. Newt run against Clinton, whether the liberals liked it or not. He did have that infidelity thing, but look who he would heve been running against.

Gee McPeak as a fighter pilot should know what it takes to be a pilot. This guy may have served well but somewhere along the way he went wrong. Referring derisively to the "not-so-swift vets." He's using the same rationale as Chris Matthews and other DNC whores. "John Kerry is a hero so you can't question whether he made up the hero part." "It all happened so long ago, so who cares." We dishonor the Vietnam vets by taking them seriously."

is bob jones a vet?
So now we have TWO speakers who have NOTHING to do with swift vets or saw Kerry in combat. This is the response?
Where is kerry's band of brothers? (under lockdown? are they now the new POW's)

I heard that tapes of the rally will be available on the website in a couple of weeks.

I agree! I have so much respect for that man on so many levels!
Today's events were important for many of us. Today was our validation that we were right (no pun intended) all along! Some, like Pitkin, faltered along the way, but few have spent as many years as he did making up for their momentary lapses.

Kerry based his campaign on his service in Vietnam. When it backfired, he lost the whole enchillada.

More like the 'Center for Involuntary Sleep Inducement!'

It's all about wind direction and blowing in the wind for Kerry.
