Longtime Democratic strategist Pat Caddell said Friday that if documents aired by CBS newsman Dan Rather Wednesday night turn out to be forged, as alleged by experts, the presidential race "is over."

Look, I pretty much agree that Bush is in the driver's seat. But this mindset can lead to complacency. I'm campaigning like Bush is 10 points down. I want a blowout and a mandate. I want to see the lefties in the media lose it. I want long Bush coat tails for House and Senate seats. Let's keep marching on to victory!

I'm not so optimistic, either. I think at the very least this will cost Blather his job.
It's not that I see Kerry beating President Bush, I just think Kerry's run a crappy campaign, and that will be one of the reasons he will lose.
