Rick Perry was on Fox to talk about the forged memos possibility, and Governor of New Mexico, Bill Richardson was scheduled to be the "other side" of the argument. Richardson backed out by making himself "unavailable at the last minute". Thoughts? Comments? Laughter?

One of the papers I read this morning, and I am not sure which, stated, that CBS got the memoes from the DNC. Supposedly, and oppo researcher had 'come across' them. Well this taught the DNC a lesson. Shipments of vintage 1970 typewriters are on their way.

Fat Billy is preserving his political skin. He doesn't want to be the Gov of this third-world state forever.
The good news from NM is that Nader got on the ballot. The Dims plan a challenge based on the premise that Nader isn't an independant because Republicans helped him.
We're still fighting the court decision that first time voters (120,000 newly registered about 10% of the electorate) don't have to show ID (even thought it's state law). People are getting pretty spun up about the blatant face of Dim fraud here.

Bill Richardson beats a hasty retreat to the parachute locker to make sure he gets one. In a related story, Elizabeth Edwards was last seen practicing to be the fat lady in the final act of the Kerry candidacy.

also CBS sat on story for six weeks before release to "check" the story a few hours of internet chatter quickly discredited!
This was a hold back to keep Bush's numbers down AND to counter the swift vets.
They probably never imagined they would use it, however they had to make the Guard story an "issue" again to hid kerry's lying history.

Can we please avoid the silly "gate" reference?

MSNbc and FOX have said repeatedly that those documents are being raked over by experts. My question is who's experts? CBS or other news outlets? I don't trust CBS to have their own experts comment on the docs!

After seeing Harkin on this morning with John Scott, it's really apparent that this is all the DNC has - you almost want to feel sorry for them. But then again, you also want to see them crying to their mommies, too.
Speaking of John Scott, thoughts on today's Cotton-Candy PINK tie? I mean, I like a pink tie but that shade is a bit over the top. Good thing he's a hunk and can pull it off.
