All About Eve -- one of my favorite Bette Davis movies. I can't decide whether I like that one, or Now Voyager better.

FYI : Look in upper right corner of "My Comments" page.
Set it for "Brief" instead of Full.
You only will get title of thread and who pinged you.
No graphics will load.

My favourite women were Lucille Ball (Circa 1936) and Katherine Hepburn (Circa 1939). My favourite male actors were Gary Cooper and Humphrey Bogart. Character actor that played in many movies and was a very nice fellow, Ward Bond.

Clara Bow. Nobody in film then or now had such expressive eyes and interesting features. When she appeared onscreen, sound was irrelevant and an unwanted distraction.
Catherine Deneuve was a close second - gorgeous.

I think All About Eve is the greatest flick, ever. Second favorite film, "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolfe". I recently got "Hell House" on vhs... I am desperately trying to find "Petrified Forest", but haven't had any luck yet.

I remember actors from scenes that got me "right here."
Sam Neill from that "Amerika" mini-series years ago
Donald Sutherland -- from both "The Eye of the Needle" and "Ordinary People"
And any scene with Mel Gibson in it ;)

Mostly the Classics (thanks, Turner Classic Movies!)
Leslie Howard
Cary Grant (especially Philadelphia Story, An Affair to Remember)
Paul Henreid (Now Voyager, Casablanca)
Rex Harrison (in Ghost & Mrs Muir)
James Stewart (from the 1930's to the 50's films)
Gene Kelly (especially Singing in the Rain)
Gene Wilder (in Blazing Saddles, Willy Wonka, Producers, etc)
There are more current actors whose films I usually enjoy (like Tom Hanks in You've got Mail and Sleepless in Seattle), but am no fan of the actors themselves.

Its a crime that this movie isn't out on DVD yet.
