If you have any clothes or fabrics with mildew stains on them, you can sprinkle the stains with salt, wet the salt down with lemon juice, and put the stuff in direct sunlight until the salt dries. That pulls out the stain and kills the mildew. (It may bleach some fabrics, but in my experience, if they were mildew stained they were a lost cause anyhow unless the salt/lemon juice treatment worked.)
Another solution (pun hee hee) to the clorox water treatment is to use an ozone generator to kill mold spores.

GOODNIGHT TROOPS AND CANTEEN |
My fat cat is telling me it's time for bed; soooooooo:
Good Night, All! May God bless all who come to the Canteen. May God bless & keep safe all our troops & their families! ________________________________Dear Lord, There's a young man far from home, called to serve his nation in time of war; sent to defend our freedom on some distant foreign shore. We pray You keep him safe, we pray You keep him strong, we pray You send him safely home ... for he's been away so long. There's a young woman far from home, serving her nation with pride. Her step is strong, her step is sure, there is courage in every stride. We pray You keep her safe, we pray You keep her strong, we pray You send her safely home ... for she's been away too long. Bless those who await their safe return. Bless those who mourn the lost. Bless those who serve this country well, no matter what the cost. God, Bless America! |

Rattlers and scorpions are critters I would NOT want to encounter! Where I live in North Texas, with lots of undeveloped land around, I hear the animals, and they are moving closer into the city looking for food. We have an exotic feline sanctuary not too far from here that takes misused large feline in to keep them as healthy and safe as possible. There are a couple of large cougars there. You can get pretty close to their habitat to see them. They are quite beautiful.

You are talking way over my head! LOL!
This was Crisco veg oil in a bottle.
Think it was definitely rancid.
Cookies in the trash.
I'll look for some cold-pressed oil. (scratching head) Where do I insert my $ to pay for this info? (wink!)

Heehee Fawnn.. well that is good advice. I really did not know about that. I have mostly books that I was trying to keep. The rest of the stuff is clothes and toys and schools supplies I was going to donate. Some of it has cleaned up.. the rest is just going bye bye. There were some winter coats I really wanted to donate to a shelter.. So, I will try the Lemon juice.
Thanks! BTW- I love your puns.. ( gotta make sure I spell check that one!!!)
