Kerry speech A heckler, shouting at John Kerry about Vietnam war atrocities, was manhandled by sheetmetal workers sitting nearby and escorted from the building. (Photo by Michael E. Keating/The Enquirer)
Since the media won;\'t ask Kerry ....'How many villages did you burn down in Vietnam?'......We The People ...must do it.
BRAVO BUMP FOR THE BRAVE QUESTIONER!
I hate to say this, but "Dude's" a copper, or I'm Grandma Moses.
Well I do beg to differ. If it was in the middle of the speech that is one thing, but what I have seen here as being reported. This was shouted prior to Kerry speaking and did not disrupt his speech. Unlike the liberal rats that stole or obtain passes into the RNC last week by means other then were lawful, and disrupted several of the Keynote speakers, and the President himself. I also think most of the elctorate in this country look beyond the extremists in both parties and look at the core of the matter. simply put I think a lot of the focus is on What Bush is running on and What Kerry is running on, and the polls current reflect what the majority of the electorate feel and see.
Clearly, Kerry is the anti-Christ.
I find him to be such an exhausting POS.
Can you find the wild-eyed kook in this picture?
Can you find the sympathetic character in this picture?

Wasn't this guy last seen driving Karen Silkwood of the road?

That's what I would use on these union goons. Let them feel it themselves.
What's the name of the Sheet Metal thug?
He needs to be famous.
CINCINNATI A heckler who briefly interrupted a speech by Democrat John Kerry today says he was assaulted by two men near him in the crowd before others shouted him down with cries of "Kerry, Kerry." Police said 48-year-old Michael Russell of Foster, Kentucky, complained that his neck was hurt by a man who put him in a headlock after Russell started to yell about Kerry's allegation of war atrocities after returning from Navy service in Vietnam.
City police were investigating. No charges had been filed today.
Russell says he had been trying to ask Kerry whether he had personally participated in atrocities in Vietnam including burning villages.
Russell says he was then grabbed by the man standing next to him in the audience.
Kerry spokesman David Wade told reporters that the heckler was Mike Russell, who is listed as a spokesman for the anti-Kerry group Swift Boat Veterans for Truth. The group has accused Kerry of lying about military heroism for which he received medals.

Look for the UNION LABEL and then REFUSE to buy it...
The Union Label Directory provides the Local Unions of this International Association, and their signatory contractors, a way to identify the companies that manufacture products for the construction industry that bear our union label. There are two different colored labels.
The BLUE label is for products made under production contracts. The YELLOW label is for products made under building trades contracts.
The products listed in the directory are created entirely by members of the Sheet Metal Workers' International Association, and the companies listed are all eligible to use the union label on their products. This directory is revised and updated periodically. Click here to use the Union Label Directory.

If in fact this guy was a spokesman for SVFT then he hurt his cause. O'Neill and the other spokesman have been measured and factual in their appearances. Reaction like M. Russell's will just drive up the perception of "nutcases".
As for heckling, I guess it's just preference with me. Let each side say have their say.
What's the name of the Sheet Metal thug?
His new name is going to be MUD and MUD spelled backwards is DUM.
Priceless!
I can tell you this much..this union thug would have ended up with a broken nose if he laid a finger on me. Albeit I would have likely been pummeled by the remaining terrorists in the vicinity.
Where is John Edwards when you need him.
recall the woman who asked Gore in 2000 about the Juanita Broaderick incident - a calm, reasonable question at an event, no shouting, no yelling - very effective. outbursts and yelling are not.
The media appears to be covering for him for now.
Good point. Can anyone find out the "thugs" name?
Far as I am concerned this guy had no business removing the heckler, police or security should have been there to take care of it. That said, I sure as heck am not going to condone heckling at anyone's speeches.
