An excerpt from Steyn's latest has me suspicious that a slaughter of schoolkids is planned for America soon-maybe before the election.
Here is Steyn excerpt:
Could what happened in Beslan happen in the US? Two months ago, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported on a fellow called Mohamad Kamal Elzahabi, a suspected terrorist who'd fought with his fellow jihadi in Chechnya and somehow wound up in Minnesota, where he'd applied for licences to transport hazardous materials and drive school buses.

Now, what if some less suspicious "white-looking" Chechen, or female, or some local recruit(s) starts driving school bus and and shows for work up one day and rigs a bus full of kids with explosives? Background checks can be defeated with enough planning. I doubt the enemy will make the same mistake twice.
We are catching way too many suspects up here in Minneapolis. Wonder if this is happening in your city also?
Not an urban legend. We had these drills monthly, just as we had fire and tornado drills. I can remember sitting under my desk waiting for the all clear.
I believe that hostage drills, along with professional vetting of all workers associated with school districts is essential. The payoff of this preparedness could be immense!
I am taking lessons from a an instructor who has degrees in many arts and has sort of combined the best of each into a style that promotes concepts rather than "moves."
Most of the guys in the class are cops or military. The other instructor is a Marine Major who teaches Close Quarters Combat emphasizing strikes with elbows, palms, and fingers to the throat, eyes and neck. The theory is premised on what was taught to WWII soldiers going against the Japs.
The kicks are used mostly at or below the waist.
Like anything , it requires a lot of work.

Haven't read anything like that since the Japs in WW2 throwing babies in the air and catching them on bayonets.
Time to arm school personnel--busdrivers, principals, and selected teachers.

This tests wheather or not we're at war. This guy should be put under a hot light and made to talk.

You assume that the "code Pink" loonies and other leftists generally have time to have kids between demonstrations. There is nothing more likely to turn somebody Right than having a wife and kids to support

I remember the drills when I went to grammar school in New York City in the early 60's. I think it depended on where you were. If the school was not in a major city or close to a military facility, there was no point in it.
