Could you help me with the definition of "blog" or "blogger"?

Is there a formal definition of "blog" or "blogger". I have a rough idea what they mean. Those terms have been used a lot lately in reference to increasing sources of news and opinions on the internet.

Thanks in advance

web log

On a Web site, a blog, a short form for weblog, is a personal journal that is frequently updated and intended for general public consumption

Blog is short for "web log". Blogger is someone who maintains a blog. Web logs are analogous with editorials. Anybody can do it. Some have evolved into true news sites and some are merely an individuals rantings.

Krusgnet is a web environmment maintained by the Krusamon cult. They worship the "Plaid Camel". Supposedly the 18th sign of the Marcadian Dindwal, which is similar to the Zodiac. The Plaid Camel being the juxtaposition of Celtic culture with that of North African nomads. I hope that clears things up.
